awesome video man haha maybe you could do some surfcasting mission with the puppy wen you use the jetski haha weather lately has been crap but wen there is a short window, its like the polar opposite to the usual bad weathers. you should try using the bullet tuna instead of the pillys much more oily and more tougher than pillys. ur slaying the gurnards in the harbour but the lack of action at the entrance of the harbour seems a bit worrying.
Thanks man, yeah it will be interesting to see if the pup likes going fishing haha. I have never tried the bullet tuna so I might have to give it a go. I think the lack of fish by the entrance was just because I was softbaiting... I think the fish have slowed down at the moment so they are less likely to attack a big softbait, but you don't know unless you try it right :)

HI GC. Question please. What do you reckon the FXHO burns an hour at cruise speed? say 40-50kph. Thinking of getting an fxho to tow the kids on a biscuit
Those gurnard are great on light tackle nice catch and an awesome day. You probably would have done better on a out going tide in the first spot but just more kahawai lol.
Yeah they are a great light tackle fish to catch. I must try an outgoing tide in that first spot and see if I have more luck, I don't like catching Kahawai though haha. Thanks for watching mate

It's ok... I don't often take an anchor with me so this is a good way to store rope without having big coils of rope going everywhere and getting tangled... easy to just pop it into a rod holder too. The reel is not really as strong as I would like it, I don't think it would hold up to long term use but it works for the few times I need it

The anchor rope is tied off to the bow of the ski. The spool is just for storing the rope on

The moggy spends 90% of it's time sleeping. Wasn't a fan of the pooch at first but he's getting over himself now

How do you find that anchor setup on the winder? I've been looking for a better option to what I currently use
