Love your videos mate. I'm in Wellington just getting into jetski fishing, would love to sync up if you're ever down this way. Beers on me!

Thanks for the anchor idea. I was stumped as to the best way to do that and I wasn't going to anchor off the stern. No instead of trolling or drift fishing I can spend some time anchored out off the bow.

Yes its a fairly good solution for anchoring off the jetski :)

Greetings from the UK! Linked through to this from your post on WSF - good one! We get a few Gurnard here in the UK but I've never caught one or tried eating one - my mate says it is the best fish he has ever tasted! Stay safe! 👍👍

Thanks for watching! I appreciate your comment :) It is a highly valued eating fish here, extremely nice flavour. Happy fishing mate!

Good video as usual. Not sorry that it is winter there. Hot and humid with daily thunder storms lately here.
I am, as usual, jealous at your time out. Have only managed 4 times this year. Hoping for (much) more soon.
Regarding anchoring. Hopes this helps spawn idea's.... I anchor but considered having to jettison the anchor in an emergency. Here's my setup:
    PWC Anchor Setup imgur.com/gallery/3yvPpoQ
Padeye connected to the Ski. Camlock (500lb capacity). If I have to jettison the Anchor, I just pull the Tag/Free/Boat end and let go. Granted, not the absolute best hooked to the Padeye but it is as far forward as I can reach without having to deal with the double Lines attaching to the Tow Eye and Ski tracks well. Never had an issue and often attach the Drift Sock/Sea Anchor to the Padeye (thru bolted by the way)
    Stay safe and tight lines
    Steve
