Personally, I prefer Praetors Voice. Easy on the CMC and Proliferate shenanigans are always fun.
No doubt she's the more powerful of the two. But I'm happy this Atraxa went in a different direction, leading to different deckbuilding styles.

Trying for an "All will be one" theme. Phyrexian tribal, featuring Elesh, Jin-Gitaxis, and Vorinclex. Proliferate and Toxic focused.
As a primarily arena player. I definitely apreshate these tips. I like playing edh decks I can't play on arena, But today after playing a chump at my LGS who could only play OP landfall decks against his gf and people playing low-level decks. I feel it nessasery to build a IRL deck that can take full control over a player more in a arena style. 🤭
I got one and built her as a reanimator and good stuff deck. Legit every strong card I could still following the 10-11 of each card type and the goal being smash with the deck and when I’m finally out of things to do, cast atraxa and redraw a hand
Using cards to copy Atraxa works for my deck, get the ability and have a second atraxa on the field... can't complain
Main issue with this new Atraxa is her cost, and that you likely won't get her out until turn 4, maybe 3 at the earliest. Depending on your local meta or playgroup, she's not going to be allowed to ETB and she'll get countered so much you won't reasonably be able to cast her anymore. This is why I would suggest perhaps running more counterspells or protection in the deck. I like this new Atraxa a lot, but her CMC is so high and the power creep of EDH has made it much easier to counter or get rid of commanders in the early game and especially in the late game. I feel like she's a solid include in the 99, with the OG Atraxa as the pilot of the deck instead.

@@commanderbydaenen I think this new Atraxa is mostly going to be viable as a blink deck in EDH, with maybe an ETB or "good stuff" sub-theme. Just brainstorming here, but I envision ramping to play Atraxa fairly early game, run enough counterspells to make sure she is able to stay on the board when you cast her, and run the gambit of blink instants to abuse her ability. Run cards like Omniscience so you don't have to spend any mana to play any of those cards you're filling your hand with. I can also see a Stax theme with her too, if you want to run degenerate stuff like Jin Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, Vorinclex and your typically white / blue / artifact stax cards like Drannith Magistrate, Winter Orb, etc.

Build the deck with some replacements such as fierce guardianship, empyrial plate, demonic embrace, mana crypt, jeweled lotus.. one tech i’m still trying to pull is tragic arrogance 😅

Lands, ramp, and planeswalkers are the most expensive part. You can go down a few on the Planeswalkers if you want, as well.
@@commanderbydaenen Lands is where I'm gonna tone it down, as well as Planeswalkers. I have a lot of decent cards from my Kaalia deck, so I'll likely use some of the best black, white and colorless ones. As for lands, I'll probably use those slow fetches and triomes from precon decks.
I do like this version of the deck, protect Atraxa and let her shine. Might have to modify it a bit for my playgroup because there's a lot of "sacrifice" effects, and that's bad if she's the only creature on my side.

Can this deck be built on Arena?
Not sure, to be honest. I haven't played Arena in a long time.
