Actually, you're right about metal sonic being nerfed! He WAS being nerfed- By Kamek! He can copy abilities, sure, but DB expressed that Kamek could stop him from doing that. I assume the only reason they didn't use Metal Overlord was because it would take too long or be too hard to animate, and I think it's good to have focus on other things besides Metal Sonic. I don’t know too much about metal overlord, but I feel like if they also wanted to mention that they could have and bowser still would have won because of the things they mentioned and showed in the alternate scenarios. I mean seriously though, the dream stone.. anyone?
I also think it'd be out-of-character for Eggman to authorize Metal to assimilate his own fleet. He probably patched Overlord out while reprogramming Metal, just to be on the safe side.
So the evil Mario you saw is called shadow Mario and was the main antagonist in super Mario sunshine which the guys mentioned earlier. It’s a disguise bowser junior used in just that game while the paintbrush is pretty consistent with his character

So from what I’ve taken from the battle as to why Infinite was so easily beat by a Thwomp, is that the way he was increasing the gravity to crush Bowsers minions, King Boo (who was immune) summoned the thwomp under said high intensity gravity, this possibly actually having the killing power to end infinite.
Emerl could have been a massive boon, but a few problems: 1.Emerl has been dead for a while 2. Wasn't really part of the Eggman Empire 3. Like the other Badnicks, he could be transmuted into a frog just like Metal Sonic if Kamek wanted to.
A few other Death Battles I'd recommend.... Galactus vs Unicron; 10th season finale and the most requested matchup in history...supposedly 4 *YEARS* needed to make it and a visual showcase! Chuck Norris vs Segata Sanshiro; meant primarily as a 'joke' episode, this 2015-era battle is technically STILL IN PROGRESS for reasons that will become clear if you watch! :D MMPR Megazord vs Voltron; visually stunning for it's time and featuring a significant voice cast!
Bowser loves his minions and willingly risks his own life to defend them. Eggman however uses them as pawns and happily throws them in harms way to protect himself. That right there is the biggest difference between the two if you ask me.
Now this is a fun reaction ALSO SOMEONE ELSE WHO WANTS A METAL VIRUS GAME It's so cool, like imagine a Frontiers styled game but you have a zombie virus time limit on Sonic.
I don’t think even THEY realize what they did when they made the metal virus arc in IDW. To me it’s one of the BEST focused arcs in the Sonic franchise overall

I wish Metal used chaos control, that would’ve been a huge game changer and could have potentially saved Eggman a victory, and that wasn’t mentioned in the post analysis I’m pretty sure. Both sides had a good run, Bowser just had too much going for him.

I understand your concern. I still watch the video and "in video ads" are paid for prior to the video, based on video views, and/or product sign-ups. Skipping this while watching the video does not effect the amount of support they receive at all. I have created content for a very long time and worked with all sorts of different ads/brands. The thing that causes problems are ad blockers that stop the ads overlayed and played directly from TH-cam.
No multiple Phantom Rubies, Underplaying Egg Dragoon, giving him the weakest of death Egg Robots for some reason, Yeah i agree. I think its a toss up but not as favorable to bowser as they make it.
If he was his most powerful, aside from Archie comics, bowser would just erase his stuff from existence. Archie comics Eggman would've slammed bowser though.

The difference between Bowser and Eggman is that Eggman is a tyrant. Bowser is a leader, and guides into battle.
GREAT explanation. Eggman builds robots that “obey” and has few peers (if any). Bowser has built an army as well as a family.

Bowser was nerfed heavily too. Bowser didn't get the wonder flower, dream stone, or any power ups aside from the grand star.
