I find these interesting and useful. As a relatively new player with at least one copy of nearly all of the player cards, I like to hear other opinions on the cards and helps remind me of cards I haven't tried. Just watching this video, I changed my upgrade plans for a current deck I'm playing.
@@Quick_Learner Gearing up for a two-player run at Horror In High Gear as Trish and looking for cards to help get more clues each turn for those times you need more than 1 clue per to keep the pace. You mentioned Quick Thinking in the video, and that seemed worth the 2XP to swap 0-level cards. Then you mentioned Adaptable, so it only cost me 1XP. I've overlooked these cards up until now (I don't play Rogue a lot), but this was a good reminder. Thanks for all of your helpful insights on the game!
Really appreciate this and loved the thought process on these older cards as compared to the newer ones, especially for me players such as myself seeking where to buy next. Dunwich still very worthwhile.
With song of the dead I think the trick is to use it as your spell that helps take care of enemies with odd health values. On a 3 health enemy use this one first, if you get a skull then fantastic otherwise hit them next with a shrivelling. With hired muscle I think he is best when you need cheap soak and having an extra fight for a turn or two might be helpful.
1:35:00 One note on Flare: because it says "then", you don't actually exile it if you miss on the Ally search!
Yay! Glad you're doing this for all the sets, this is such a good series for relatively new players like myself

What are you looking to put into your deck now?

53:41 Moment of Respite has gotten a little better because of Prophetic. Especially for Agnes and Nathaniel it´s a nice one-of.
Yeah, that's a neat way to pay for the card.
That's an awesome idea.
