i’m SO happy you reacted to sonamoo, they’re definitely one of the most underrated girl groups despite having the best discography, bsides and all. the one title track you didn’t listen to that i recommend you do on your own time is “friday night”! i’m assuming the patron didn’t include it in your reaction because the mv is unfortunately extremely cheap lol, but the song is sooo good you should def give it a listen sometime
This group was highly anticipated at the time of their debut due to TS having produced/created the super popular 2nd gen groups Secret and B.A.P. Not to mention members D.ana, Nahyun, Euijin, and NewSun were popular trainees due to their visuals! However, many were disappointed with Sonamoo's debut due to it being similar to B.A.P, and instead fans really wanted a baby version of Secret. Around Sonamoo's debut is also when the dark side of TS was starting to be revealed in terms of the unfair treatment of their groups. As of late Sonamoo's little brother group TRCNG has also been caught up in scandal. Sadly two Sonamoo members (Sumin and Nahyun) have terminated their contracts with TS, thus leaving the group. "We are Legendary," is the group's recent release, and only four members participated in the "comeback." Member High.D is currently on hiatus due to her health, but many also think she too will leave sometime. I'm not sure I really love this group, and each member is so talented, I just wish more knew of them
Sonamoo kinda remind me of Ladies Code. Both groups have very talented members and they have bops for days but they're underappreciated among the general public. But at least with Ladies Code, they had some success on the charts before the accident. With Sonamoo, they were held back on day 1 by being under TS Entertainment. You know you're a bad company when you have your own dedicated section on the Wikipedia page just to mistreatment.
The first song you reacted to has the English title of “I think I love you?” Which I put in my notes :) I’m glad you enjoyed their titles so much!! You will love this b sides because they are just as good if not better than their titles!! THESE GIRLS DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER

I felt the exact same way when I found them way back in I Think I Love You era (the first mv in hangul) Not sure if you take requests from youtube, but you'd love their Friday Night video too :) Sonamoo literally came out of the gate with the biggest disadvantage: being attached to TSE. When they debuted, BAP was in the middle of suing TS, and some hated them partly because they thought TS was trying to distract the public by debuting a new group. They never had a chance from the beginning. I know you don't know the members but they easily could've gotten to at LEAST a good level of fame and recognition with how talented all the members were. I'm not being dramatic in any way, I swear, but I never knew trash until I learned about TS Entertainment. NO idea how they botched each and every single talented person that came to their door, but somehow they did smh Sadly, as much as I want them to comeback, I'd rather they get as far away from TS as possible. Anyway, rant over. Sorry. I see some people mentioning Idol Operation Drama Team (IDOT). Totally worth seeing even once. I was a really cool reality-ish show. TS is good at picking members/songs/concepts, but god they're the worst at management.. Don't think there's any other company that got so many lawsuits against them. I just hope the girls can leave the company soon, don't think they will do anything for the group anymore, but they still won't let them go.. fcking trash.

I knew you'd respond positively, but I'm happy you loved it that much. 😍 There's no way to express how mad it makes me that this song didn't get more attention and then the group fell apart afterwards.
