She's not intense but her thinking so much that she texted really fast, Red Velvet members always said that Joy the members who's thinking alot and easily cry, only when infront of camera she's switch to being confident and professional, her experience in the industry just made her very aware to not making anything awkward, she leading the conversations there

Joy really is very introverted and shy though unless she's very close/comfortable with the person she's with. She was kind of hamming it up for the sake of the video, but in a lot of Red Velvet's content she is usually the quietest one along with Irene.

- Texting one line at a time makes a lot more sense in Korean than English tbf
- Regarding the friendship thing, i think it's a bit of both (and probably other factors). Even idols that do have non-idol friends - like from school or whatever - tend to barely ever see them due to their schedules etc. Making idol friends is probably much easier but even then if the schedules never match up you might really struggle to find time to see each other, that happens quite a lot.. That's without getting into who you're comfortable confidently calling a "friend" to begin with
- And yeah in Korea if they ever get swarmed it's usually at airports and even then it's (thankfully) rarely as bad as we've seen with popstars from overseas. On the street usually at most they might be asked to take a photo. Otherwise people will *maybe* take a video from afar and move on, but it's not rare for people to not even take pics/videos of their encounters
- The waves they're talking about (~) are meant to show that the sound is elongated. Like "ah~" would be read as "aaah", "ok~" would be "okayy" etc. I only gave 1 syllable words but it works with any word, it just has to do with the sender's way of talking (and reading out the message)
- I couldn't pick up on every anime and didn't really look into it but i'm pretty sure there was One Punch Man (the one you pointed out) and Promised Neverland in there; maybe Blue Exorcist too idk
