Look I am a Steeda Guy all the way. I Just recently did their Supply line and Braided Clutch line. Besides the Jack rails and IRS braces too, I could go on.. And good for them always trying to be first and develop new things but I have to say I am sooo happy to have the Gen 2 S550 with 1 air box and less points of failure.. Not knocking the S650's but I just see a more money more problem type of situation when I see 2 throttle bodies on the 24's.. This stuff is expensive enough already without having to have 2 of everything.. LOL.. But I am happy to see Steeda pushing the new platform even though I'm an S550 guy.. I thought about doing the Ford performance Pack 2 but I really think I am going to leave her at stock power for a couple more years.. I'd like to strengthen some of the week links on it first before I go for more power.. Next on my list are the 1. Steeda 3/4" drop Handling Progressive springs, Drive shaft, and then a Barton shifter.. I'm also going to be doing the SVE GT350 wheels and tires eventually too.. My God the money adds up soo fast though especially when you are trying to pay bills too... Oh well little by little..

The only way bigger throttle bodies gain more at low rpm than high rpm is if the stock calibration isn't opening them all the way in the first place. The larger area of the aftermarket units will allow more airflow for a given throttle angle (they don't open faster, the open area increases more per degree of blade angle - important distinction). Of course, if the difference is big enough you will get a MAF correlation error and a check engine light. Either way, not really a useful mod at this stage of the S650 game.
Reminds me of when the price of a Powerball ticket went from $1 to $2. Singh at the gas station told me, "Now you can spend twice as much to get nothing!"
not a lot of HP for the $ i think it would better to wait till they crack the code for tuning the ECU to take full advantage of the standard gear who knows what it will make with a tune (30 to 50 HP more ?) and you can change the throttle feel with changing to sport or track , drag mode for free i think the silver bullet and competition focused cars would benefit but average street daily driver guy would be wasting their $ till you can tune it properly to take advantage of the other mods like pipe intake etc etc stage 1 stuff and then cams and forced induction
I always thought the 1/8 mile times of these mustangs was slow compared to their 1/4 mile times. I was at an 1/8 track in my procharged godzilla f250 that weighs 7400 lbs. The most recent mach 1 was an equal race for me. But go to 1/4 mile and he blows me away. It needs an early on kick in the pants. Maybe this will help.
What the video shows is that nothing changes from these throttle bodies. All your performance driving is done above 5000 rpm. These may do great when tuning is here, but this is not that time.
Everyone just keeps assuming tuning is coming I think they might just be stuck with Ford approved tunes. People have been asleep on this for over a year now.
I just don't understand how it's not throwing codes? The way these cars are all PC now and not to mention locked still.. I changed an air intake on an older car about 10 years back and within a year I had a MAF code that never goes away now.. IDK.. I haven't done that with my GT because I have seen without a tune it's a problem so not taking shots just confused a little....
Silly mod for a stock engine/setup. That's going to need to be paired eith something that's capable of flowing more air.. cams, more cubic inches, or the best option, forced induction
All due respect to Steeda- but.... this video could've been about 5m long. And $1000 for a handful of HP? Somebody has more money than sense.

Watch the other videos that will come out by others with no dyno runs and just as long. The honest info you get from steeda cannot be compared.
🤦🏽♂️ 2 90mm throttle bodies aren't going to just be the only upgrade being done, genius. It's probably for a low key twin turbo build 😂

How quickly would the ECU adapt to the changes in input? Or when you dynoed it would it already be fully "optimised" by the ECU? (I have no idea)

No need to reprogram the ECU when changing the Throttle body?
If you want better throttle response, just drive in Sport mode. Don't waste your money.
I guess after you do the jacking picks and wheel spacers, this is the next mod for S650 guys

@@marcasswellbmd6922 this might not have MAF’s (speed density). My truck is speed density and doesn’t need a tune for a larger throttle body.
It may throw codes it hasn't been on long enough to throw it (possibly)
