I came onto your video from your blog just to tell you thank you. I have been looking for a while for this idea that I had in my head and haven't been able to find anyone else who had done it until I stumbled across your blog. Amazing detail, and thank you again!
You are absolutely brilliant!!! I have viewed dozens & dozens of TH-cam and Pinterest DIY videos and yours is the ONLY one that thoroughly showcased how to construct a sturdy collapsible wall that I (as a female) can be inspired to replicate for staging furniture! Your project not only looks professionally constructed but is truly functional. Even after talking with the gentleman at HomeDepot, I didn’t feel quite sure his advice would hold up that much weight. Now I can show him your video on a full proof plan. You should be so proud of yourself. I thank you for carefully pointing out the areas that needed attentional reinforcements!
Thank you so much, Francine! I'm so happy to hear that you are now confident to build a wall like this! It took a bit to figure out but we are super happy with the way it turned out!
When I Say Life Saver….. You Have Created The Concept I Have Been Thinking Inside My Head…. Not Knowing If It Was Even Possible But I Just Knew It Could Be…. The Tricky Part Was Making Sure It Would Be Steady Once Unfolded & That’s The Part You Mastered…. Thank You Thank You 4 Not Only Your Creativity But 4 Also Sharing Your Secrets…. God Bless
Hi Kimberly! I'm happy to hear this photo backdrop idea is helpful for you! It was challenging to figure out how to build it but I love the way it turned out!
Really dope. I’m using these plans to do the same for trade shows and just a photo op for my garage whenever I have something creative I’d like to shoot. Great work!!!
Going to attempt this today Is there any way to download your instructions I went to the link but there are so many advertisements all over the instructions it makes it hard to read
Hi Pamela! I don't have a PDF version of the instructions. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble reading the instructions amidst advertisements. I'll take a look at that ... but, of course, the advertisements are the way I earn enough money to share free information!
I know it's been 2 years since you built this backdrop wall but would you share any lessons learned are upgrades that would make this project even better? I'm a amateur DIYer and this project seems so much fun to build. Thanks again for sharing! Also, what size are the barrel bolts?
Hi Clarence! The barrel bolts are 5 inch and are linked in this post: sunshineandrainydays.com/diy-photo-backdrop-wall-on-wheels/ As far as lessons learned or upgrades, I'm not sure. My niece is pretty happy with the way it turned out! I do wonder if I should have left more space between the boards to allow for movement but I haven't heard she's had any problems with it and I know she used it for an event recently.
