Zamak die casting usually use hot chamber die casting machine. And also if you only have cold Chamber die casting, you can use it to die cast the zinc alloy parts. The difference is hot chamber die casting is more efficiency. And we all know: “time is money”! It’s true, because same machine and the same labor worker, how many pieces can they made? Add up with material cost, that’s the cost of a factory!
This is Xiaofang Shen from Yontone, we have been in this die casting and mould field for more than 12years. Talk to me: sales@yontone.com

Hello Please 🙏.. Are these pieces or this material affected by water ( Does it rust or not ) or change color !? Can it be made in the 3D printer or not ?! I really need details about this matter please benefit me ..

Hello, the zinc alloy will not rust, but it will oxidize the color and aluminum alloy after oxidation is almost the same black plaque. Do you want a prototype for 3D printing? As with our commonly used 3D printing materials, it is generally a plastic material such as ABS resin. Of course, there are other methods, such as using full machining to make some products samples. In addition, it is also possible to make a simple mold by casting to obtain a sample that is closer to the actual product after mold opening. So purely from the perspective of 3D printing, zinc alloy is not acceptable, but if you want to make a round shape, we will use aluminum alloy for general metal, because aluminum alloy is lighter and easier to process. If you must use zinc alloy. Depending on the structure of your product, we will be able to determine whether it is possible to do some samples in some way.
