How many KV gun output power
Is this being shipped to the US with or three-prong plug? It shows the EU style plug , so how does the conversion work?
We ship all of our powder coating guns to US with US standard nema 5-15 three prong plug.
How much powder is usually used for a rim?? Hard to say how much you need, dosnt seem to use that much when the standard amount is a few grams ?
You are correct that it does not require a lot of powder to coat a rim. We have been using 70-80 grams of powder to coat 16"-18" rim.
This seems to be a really nice and uncomplicated kit. The price is really affordable too. Do you sell spare parts also?

The problem is the powder. Powder sold here in the States is negative to ground, I’ve read that it’s the opposite for Tribo. Since powder in general doesn’t list which system it’s for, we assume it’s just for “standard” guns. How can we tell if it will work with yours, because the colors are severely limited for your guns here with powder we know works (hard to get)?
I’d like to try this, as it seems to have some advantages.
So does the Tribo version not require high dc voltage then? I'm trying to figure out how (or where) the system in the video converts and steps the voltage up...
Milk Manson there is no high voltage created by the gun from a power source. The voltage is created by the powder rapidly moving through the plastic tube, which is convoluted. It creates an electrostatic charge that is in the powder as it goes through. It’s similar to the static you can get in dry weather from a carpet.

same here, it doesn't work with uk. I looked it at the plug it's just wired to earth so how it can get a charge

Can you powder coat over the factory paint?
Regular paint might start peeling off while curing powder at 180 degrees Celsius. You could powder coat over factory applied powder coating. I would recommend sanding a surface a little bit and then spraying it with powder of your choice.

It makes it's own static as the powder moves through 2 what looks like teflon plates. No AC Power is used. Search other videos and it will be explained better.
