Love this video, got my guitar recently and WOW they weren’t kidding about it being a rethink of the guitar top to bottom! The build quality is OUTSTANDING, and the guitar is so damn light!

Man, I KNOW! Thanks for being patient, it looks like your guitar was delivered in mid-Feb, did you receive it? We were ridiculously backordered during that time, and are finally making some headway - thanks again for waiting. I hope you love your Twilight Blue model, please reach out if you need any help or have any questions!

Thanks for replying! Barely a week later I’ve got the guitar in my hands. What a beauty. I’m so happy I waited!

Aluminum won't susbstatially block magnetic flux noise until it's ~1/4" thick, but even 1 layer of Al tape blocks static electronic field noise. The Steel poles already reduce the pickup Q and highs via eddy currents. The Al cage just draws some of the power away from the Nd magnet so string pull isn't too strong. The Al over the top in the FF42 just reduces the highs even more. Al also reduces the upper-mids via eddy currents, so even the PF42 should have a softer tonality than a low wind P90.
