Chat saying we need new Pokémon every week just shows how bad some people’s ideas are.
Ngl, a Tyrogue with 3 evolution paths would be pretty cool. Mew already gets 6 moves to choose from so it wouldn't be that insane of a concept. It would be kind of like Scyther/Scizor in terms of how each path is basically a different role inside Pokemon Unite.
I've thought about this. Hitmonlee could be high damage with self harm risk by using high jump kick (damage self after missing), Hitmontop with mostly utility moves like rapid spin that has a cleansing effect and finally Hitmonchan who'd be somewhere in between, using something like comet punch that actually cycles through fire, ice and thunder punch style effects.
Pro tipp against charizard:
Slowbro can stun charizard with its unite while zard is flying with its unite.

Is it really? The water bear buffs seemed pretty odd. It seemed like liquidation needed a bigger shield and oddly got a damage buff. Whereas liquidation getting a cooldown buff is nice but felt like it needed more healing or damage. Also his Ult is pretty underwhelming.
I totally agree, but the shield from Liquidation is intended to be enlarged and enhanced based on the amount of enemies hit. The unite move definitely needs some changes because unlike Single Strike, you don't dash to the opponent, instead, if they are out of your range, you'd just miss the entire attack.
Yeah the main thing is that the ult gives better CD so even if it doesn’t land you still get a buff
Surging Strikes cooldown buff was definitely the right first step. Constantly putting out moves if you play it right fits within the theme of this Pokemon. Next should be tweaking the unite, perhaps having a lower cooldown too and/or having less wonkiness. Also, Unite would benefit from Watershifu having no stuns.
If these changes somehow proved to be too much then they really just need to make it a lvl6 evo and make Rock Smash a very viable secure move so it can actually fight early-game.
@@jakiru8783 not really, the unite move is a great addition but the after attack is terrible, not the attack power but the because unlike Single Strike, the unite would charge straight to the target, whereas Rapid Strike's version does not, it's only good as a buff when you really need one. Surging Strikes didn't exactly had a buff, they nerfed it few months ago because it was too strong, but they kind of made Rapid Strike completely useless, so they just changed it back. I honestly wish they made Urshifu as strong as it is in Sword and Shield.
It didn't need any buffs. It's an easy character and we were winning with it in high level competitive environments. If you buff it, it ends up like an Eevee situation with a bunch of bad players doing too much damage
I have said it before I think the game needs move abilities that match roles more. I think all ranged attackers should have damage only moves with virtually no CC. It creates a need for the defenders and supports. Brawlers can have short CC but only on one of their moves per move set. We have all been stunned into oblivion in this game and it’s just too much
Would be a healthy direction for sure. The likes of Mew & A-Ninetales could easily become full on Supports with just a few tweaks.

I like how much the meta has changed with this patch. EX Pokémon are still strong but not omnipresent, Water Bear gives another true damage option, and Char being good makes it important to have a quick unite caster! Big time meta shift.

Stopped playing it as soon as I heard it got nerfed. Glad they finally gave it some attention.
I mean the nerfs were deserved, just that they affected him too much.
If you REALLY liked him you would still play it, unless you actually used him because he was overtuned, arguably more than the first nerf Zacian for various people

I really like Ceruledge, it feels really powerful. Makes me hopeful that Armarouge will be strong as well.
The best part about the Water Bear comeback is that we can use it as an example to how much a second of extra cooldown can screw a character without nerfing damage

We need more support pokemon.
Also, we need an Eevee that at level 4 can learn 1 of 3 moves (fire, water or thunder type) and evolve into that Eeveelution. Similiar to Scyther but each Eeveelution has a different style. Vaporen as a healer tank, Flareon as a DPS and Jolteon as a speedster with debuffing
He felt fine before if you had max stacks and a level lead but now he feel real

Expectation : Buffed crit damage and Surging Strike heal
Reality : CD reduction (that's already quite short with his boosted atk), extra Liquidation damage (just why)
I'm so happy my first time reaching master was with water bear
I know that clefable probably just wanted to try the buffs but that match would have gone a lot different if they looked at your team and just ran gravity lol

with Clefable buffed I think we would see more cursed items to be in play now, hopefully. But maybe I'm delusional because this is UNITE we talking about
Sableye needs to be turned into a ranged support to complement the sneaky playstyle that it has. Melee doesn't really work

What's a good hybrid held and battle item loadout for bear?
I personally prefer dark bear but I'd like the option to switch to water bear without committing my entire item loadout before the game starts.
Maybe Razor Claw, Muscle Band and Attack Weight with Full Heal?
Sounds pretty decent. I need to do some testing as well. Muscle seems like a must for Watershifu but a couple items I've liked on Darkshifu the past months are Weight/Amp which I think will also work on Watershifu.

I guess cuz its a minor legendary? Zacian and Ho-oh are box art and main legendaries of their gen and Mewtwo is the og legendary (the trio birds being minor legendaries themselves)

Urshi looks to be very viable now but boy the CC really hurts it if you dont know how to play around it.
And since they nerfed zoro and it's i-frames, we now have to run full heal as a must... CC has brought this game into a freakshow.
@@VM-gy8bm Honestly they should have lowered fullheal's cooldown considering everything is a damn CC... I can full heal one fire spin but you damn well know im gonna get fire spinned again in 6 seconds among other moves..
@@nicolefajardo3658 I used to be really quick with feint attack, could illusion and pull off the entire combo, but thanks to the nerf, I'll have to find a new strat if I come back. Used to, I'd illusion/shadow claw for the stun/feint attack/shadow claw, repeat, and could K.O. even a mime. The i-frame was a necessity for that strat though.
@@VM-gy8bm Man in all honesty i hope youre able to either find a way to manage your combos again or find another worthy mon to use cuz it really sucks that this sort of thing screws one over. They could have just if anything lessen a bit the damage but illusion did help a lot by the sound of it.

I suppose the least they could do is make current hook moves better.
Goodra should still be able to move around while using Power Whip.
Slowbro should be completely Hinderance Resistant while using Telekinesis and heal more while holding a foe.
@@jakiru8783 lol you do know that both of this difender are monster at late game. just immagin a goodra that keep healing while in the middle of a fight and if you try to escape he can drag you back in if goodra can move while using vine whip. and as for slowbro its like suggecting to have a unite move in low CD.
