Same! I had a teammate tell me to use my brain because I was farming while no objectives were on the map, we were way ahead & no major fight was happening. They were so titled, I had to rewatch what I was actually doing wrong 🤣 I was just being a helpful defender 😢

well after nearly 3000 games I consider myself a Blissey main, Clefable alt, and I have to say that playing a support role in soloQ is as frustrating as it gets. You can't really carry the game, if the allies are clueless, you're destined to fall BUT my man, it feels so rewarding when you manage to out-heal the enemy full force.. To me it feels better to heal over 130k as a supporter than to deal over 140k as an attacker. Am I the only one?

True facts. In most team-based games, supports are very well equipped to not just heal and provide utility but also gather information about the field as well. You even have some supports like Sableye where "doing your job" means annoying the enemy team and making them waste time chasing you instead of completing objectives. Blissey in particular is equipped to be a mini tank as part of its job which means sometimes walking out and baiting out cooldowns and unite moves so enemy team can't use them on your teammates.
With my main being Eldegoss and also owning most of the supports and defenders (except for Mamo and Sableye) this was a fantastic series. Would love to see more like this in the future. Ally support on comms with the Content Cowboy FTW!

I play defenders and supporters so it was great to see this series. I have recently bought Sableye and am finding it hard, but it was only day one. I would love to see more support Sableye.

It's mostly eldegoss, hoopa and trevenant but it feels so nice to support properly. That is... if your team knows what to do. That being said I'm proud of improving on those mons, anyone else have a similar case? Also my favorite is currently foul play/snarl umbreon, it's more like an all-rounder but I try to be aggressive and defend squishies. Saving allies from enemies is so satisfying!
Jake, you're so jammy! Who the funk gets a bot game in Ultra Class 1?! Unite usually dangles the Master rank carrot in front of me, then whips it away with terrible teammates in Ultra Class 1!

I remember last year during the Mewtwo meta, you were awful on mic. You were treating your teammates like children while encouraging bad practices and unnecessary risks. It reminded me of middle schoolers who would encourage classmates with special needs to make fools of themselves. You did so much better this year. You treated your teammates like equals. You suggested better courses of action when you felt the team was making mistakes. You sounded genuine. This time, you set a good example of how people should use the mic. I'm curious, what changed since last year?
In what video was he doing that? I don't remember Jake ever using his mic for anything besides this. He usually just talks to himself and his chat. I do remember him having an awfully miserable time during the mewtwo meta. I guess it's possible but what I usually saw was him venting to himself about how stupid the pokemon is, he had no reason to ever use his mic.

that extended ray fight with blissey really showed how a supporter can really lead a team to victory. the healing was exemplary
