- The Forth and final Quarter Final - Blacklist vs Team Phat!
Blacklist also known as the Wolf Pack! Have been winning cool, calm and collected as they topped their group stage and automatically qualified for the quarter finals. Phat have had to battle a little harder for their spot in the quarter finals, coming second in their group which was surpising for the UK champions. They also had one of the hardest group stages loosing to Apex ETH 1-0. Will they be able to claw back a victory or will Blacklist continue to dominate!

This was a close match just like team phat Vs apex ETH. It seems like when two great teams really take eachother seriously, there is alot more quick and tactical matches. That being said. Blacklist were incredible in this tournament. Can't wait to see them again

@@craiglunn4137 Lol I've learned long ago that you gotta avoid the comments before watching and making sure you don't do anything to bring up the timer bar early which can spoil the game when you know match point is approaching.
This was a fantastic match! I love the increased level of play when it came to how the chasers tackled The Ridge and how both teams started to jump on top of it to have better chances of getting a tag. Although it takes more energy to do, I love seeing that type of decision making in a chase.
Never seen this in my 35 years.. i have missed allot of badass action :O
when both team's quality is so high, one wrong step on the quad costs the whole match

This match kind of reminds me of the final of WCT4 where there are many quick tags and outstanding chasing.
And with higher intensity and skills :D
I love how recently players has started taking new routes (as it has slowly became boring in the last weeks when everyone was basically running in the circle :) )
Yeah. I'd like then to experiment with new quad designs cus the routes are becoming more predictable and requires less parkour
@@jjprempeh2508 That would be too soon. There are still ways to optimize chasing and evasion routes and tactics. Orlando's approach for chasing for example vastly differs from the normal approach. He never just waits in front of the evader, he always progresses forward with his moves, bit by bit. And he makes use of the high ground instead of directly chasing after someone on the ground.
There's still a lot of evolution to do for the teams.
@@jjprempeh2508 While a static problem does help with evolution of strategy, I will say that it doesn't look like most people go to the middle because there's so little EQ there. It's mostly used for quick dashes if your chaser is too close. That could be something that gets improved without much loss of action.

Ahhhhh, gotta admit I wanted to see blacklist go against Apex but it was a good match nonetheless!
SPB!!! Real nail-biter of a match and some superb work from both teams. Lando definitely the MVP with the sole evasion and the match point tag, but great pressure from Abdullah and the Lukes as well to shut Blacklist out (especially after they'd been so dominant and consistently notched evasion during the group stages). PHAT vs. P59 is going to be an interesting one!
Yeah this was a ferocious match!! Really intense!
Look at Luke Stones, WCT players. He called that he had gotten the tag by raising his hand, but did not slow down or stop chasing. Too many evasions are given because someone *thinks* they got the tag so they stop and it goes to a DTR where it's ruled an evasion.
It's really cool to see people being able to see this tiny detail.😉
This really has evolved over time, the tilted cube used to be gold but now it seems like anytime someone stops there they're tagged.
Blacklist kept doing the double tower jump so it was easy for Phat to understand their tactic, they should consider having more than one impactful way to start off an evasion.
The more familiar the athletes get with the terrain, the lower the overall scores drop.
Performing an evasion in this match seemed so impossible !

this match was intense, sad to see the legendary blacklist team being knocked out, phat would prob beat parkour 59 to reach the final. The other apex semi final would be a really good one as both teams were fire
Parkour 59 have eliminate GNF, so why not eliminate Phat ?

Un match avec beaucoup d'intensité et de technicité. Du grand niveau. C'était un match de niveau "demi-finale".
Whether they win or lose, Blacklist will always be in my top 5 favorite teams. They’re so smooth, smart, and agile that it’s just an entertaining battle from start to finish. Loved seeing Augustin again, dude is insane… just wish he didn’t take these so personal and looked at it the way the Apex teams do. Better in this match but still bothers me when he took it rough a few years back and walked off the quad at the end and congratulated no one in the moment. Still my favorite on the team but character development will soon take its course😁

SPB! PHAT vs PK59 now. I’m not really sure how I feel about this one. Parkour 59 are the underdogs and so I’m not really sure who’s gonna win. Regardless, I hear it’s a good match. This one was definitely a great one. Hope to see PHAT vs Blacklist again soon.
PK59 has a habit of starting their evaders in odd spots on the quad, such as that box I call the foothills of the Mountain. I love that.

Mehdi has definitely not gotten better since wct 4 against united specifically he was fast, quick and not just running like a maniac.
idk if the moving bar on the screen for the time is necessary. I think the stopwatch thing is enough. But maybe other people like it?
I like the bar because it makes it easier to gauge how far you are quickly without needing to actually see the number.
