Not even the biggest names in Hollywood could have come up with a better script for this finals. Congrats to all the competitors, they couldn't have given us a more epic final. That was amazing to watch.

This was such an intense and incredible final. I honestly feel really bad for Yiheng, the fact that he was 0.01 seconds off and that he had EVEN more pressure than everyone else since he was expected to win.
Dw, he is very young he will win some more :) Happy for Max, who knows how fast you can decline with aging ?
He still has like 10 years to prove himself

Once he learns to be a good competitor he will win back to back world's. This is kinda like a repeat of feliks where a win seemed easy but pressure got to him because of inexperience. Hope Yiheng wins 2025!
One of the best finals I've watched. I rooted for Max and the ludacris result was a dream come true for me. The finals was a sneak peak of the chinise domination btw
Correction: max won 4,000,000 South Korean won, not 4,000,000 usd, so he won roughly 3k usd

I lost my mind for a minute when you said he won 4 million dollars. 😂 the prize money was issued in Korean won, converted to USD is about $3,000.

Hes only 9 so it makes sense for him to be sad and not smile because he lost by 0.01 but he probably cheered up after
@@KPR888 there was a video of his mom looking upset after the finals. He's was just a 9 year old the pressure and expectations can be overwhelming for him.
@@jamescarter9944 yihengs mom is also one of his his coaches. And if Yiheng is upset ofc she will be upset
@@jamescarter9944 also he will learn from this not to set high expectations so soon and practice in high pressure enviroments, he was 9its normal for him to be sad thats like any 9 year old, hes 10 now tho
@@KPR888 it's true that his mom will be upset but Yiheng would've also felt upset about not winning and it might not have been the most appropriate time to scold him.
Also Yiheng has been performing so well recently and obviously that would lead to high expectations for himself. It's not just about expectations he has for himself but also expectations others have for him. Everyone is tracking his progress and that's not going to stop so we can all atleast be a little understanding of him as he just turned 10 a week ago

Side note: Workshop training schools need to be set up, which can run alongside major competitions. They could run a couple of days before or after comps. They could be aimed at different levels, beginner, intermediate, advanced, parents... It would bring more enjoyment, benefits and interest to the comps and make travelling to them more worthwhile imo. What you think?
