I agree. There is shouldn’t be a timeline or requirement on receiving a “Thank You” on a funeral situation. Nice but not required.

Yes, I agree! I have a dear friend, who is recently lost her husband to cancer, and is thanking people in her own way in her own time as it’s possible for her. She is absolutely heartbroken and devastated, as of course she would be. I hope everyone can please be patient and extra kind to those who are grieving.
