What's really cool is that you can virtualize a computer that's 10, 20 years old...

Just inherited a VCSA, Hypervisor VMware ESXI, 6.7.0 but we're on version 7.0.3. Does ESXi 6.7.0 stop support next October from what I'm reading?

Thank you for the video. So, my doubt for the longest time has been finding the difference between ESXi vs. vSphere.
From what I have been able to gather, are these names pretty much the same thing?!!
    Thank you

Hey AU, thanks for the comment. vSphere refers to the entire package (includes both ESXi and vCenter). vSphere is also the client that is used to login into and manage your ESXi and vCenter environments. Hope that helps.

    1. the esxi is installed directly on the individual physical servers (hosts), then where does the vcenter be installed?
    2. Do you have any video about joining/teaming different physical network cards to work together as one in an esxi host and on the virtual machines installed on it?

  • @sa77if

thanks but i didnt understand where vspher stands? esxi is the software installed the physical machine, vcenter is the cetral software that manages the esxis BUt where is vspher? is it part of vcenter? do we need to install it?

  • @js00js56

is not recommended to install vcenter on one of the esxi, vcenter should be install on windows server on separate server
