    Thank you so much for the help Lane. The seven steps have been a lifer saver. I am a theology major who is going to be preaching his first sermon soon and this has made me very comfortable with it. I am about to buy the two books you have as well. You are a great instructor who can help any pastor.

    The flipping thing (verse first then the point) is indeed powerful. When its spot on it creates a sort of mini climax. People at the pew jotting down your sermon mostly feel this climax thing ☺

      Indeed it does. It's a way to build some micro-tension all throughout the sermon.
