For the screws I make sure the spring tension is on the lowest just to make my tensioning consistent. I loosen the screws until it can corner cut past 45°. This makes it really fast wand way less blocky. Pretty much loses it till you start getting pops in solves then tighten it 1/8 turns untill the pops go away. Then once the screws are where I want them I’ll put the spring tension on 2. I then use 2 lubes that aren’t traditionally cube lubes (just what I have). It’s basically a combo of weight 2 and a very fast water based lube
The way I set my 10 rs3ms for multiblind up: loosen the screws 3/4 of a turn, spring tension on 2 clicks, so the 3rd weakest setting, a bit of weight 5 on the tracks and 6 deops of lunar on the pieces and whenever I find a side that has spring noise I add like 2 trops of nebular. Didn't want to spend the time lubing all the springs in all 10 cubes
I make sure my skews are at the very top right before they fall out then i remove all the prices then i rub them in sand and mud right before i re add the pieces i ben the green side 45° then i dip it in flour then i fry it and add sweet baby Ray's on it then i re add the pieces and i then add 100 drops of gan magic lube perfect set up :3
For the tensions, I just check if all the screws look the same height (or gauge it with my finger over the screw cap), and after they are even, I see how many turns/half turns I need to get the best corner cutting - and then I adjust all the sides the same. Also, for the lube, I recommend always starting with two drops: one on a corner stalk and one on a piece. Add more if needed, but 6 drops can easily be too much.
@@randomqrcod.e if I can't feel any difference, I assume there's no difference. But in the original comment I wrote I check whether the screws _look_ the same height. If you're more pedantic, you can also take all the pieces out and count the threads visible.
I prefer the heaviest lubes, like Vortex, on the spring and spindle. I didn't used thing that was this important until I had a WR M maglev 2020 that started to squeak. But, properly lubing the spindles effectively is best done with some disassembly, which probably ought to be done by only those who are mechanically inclined. And, you'll have to calibrate spindle screws, which is a whole different discussion.
Great video! Thanks! I should have opted for the lubrication and setup option when I bought this cube, but I’m new to speed cubing and didn’t know. Unfortunately mine came with lots of spring noise.
the way i set my super rs3m is first, 2 drops of lunar on all the core. 8 drops of lumar and martian inside the cube, and 4 drops if moyu lube v3 for the quietness
My friend actually messed up with the screws and now his rs3m keeps getting popped. This is the reason I am afraid to touch the screw. The spring compression is set to 3 clicks not too fast not too slow. Pls recommend any other spring compression setting other than 3 clicks. I still have no lube
If possible, simply turn the screw clockwise the same amount that you initially unscrewed it. If not, you may have to play around with it a bit, making small screw adjustments at a time and twisting your puzzle until everything feels balanced :) ~Noah

@@ahustle9783 I saw people in the Cubers subreddit say that while not necessary, it wouldn't hurt to lube at the screws, as apparently something stuff can rub against the plastic in Moyu MagLev cubes.
Don't worry! Try to turn the screw the opposite direction the same amount, do some turns and adjust the screw properly until your cube feels even on all sides. Happy cubing! ~Noah
@SpeedCubeShopOfficial thanks so I kept turning the screws on each side and now they feel "mostly" the same, I feel like I would need a professional to do it for me just so I can get the best result but I think it's good enough for now
I tried to adjust my cube, because it was my first speed cube, and now I feel like every time I try to loosen it, it is to loose and not fast, but when I tighten it, it becomes sluggish.
you know when speedcubeshop uploads its going to be a banger

yeah, I do the same for the screw depth.
A problem with this method is the screw length may not be the same on all the screws from the factory.

super nice vid stay as you are ❤️🔥
This helped alot!!
Can i use the galaxy lube in both the core and the pieces?
yep, you totally could. All of this comes down to how you like it
Thank you very very very very very very very very very very much
nice setup :)
Adding magnets is a must tbh.
Yeah the magnets are pretty weak on the rs3m

I think without lube this cube is good in 2 or 3 clicks. I like mine with 2 clicks before i give it lube. Now i use 6 clicks after i lube it
same happened to my rs3m and wrm
Setting 3 is fine, you should consider getting lubes it improves your cube s ton!

I think the name of the video is wrong - the "buy" link leads to rs3m 2020, not 2022.
The cube should be the 2020 version
The buy link leads to the 2020 version (Maybe they already changed it)
