Hoping to afford the VIDI system for my Tiguan soon, about the only acceptable gauge solution I like for the Tiguan. I've looked at Scangauge II, Column Pods, and custom pods, yours is the cleanest solution..

2 days I am struggling with my golf 5 plus air vents. The right one has stuck. I am puling it with screwdriver but in vain... There is no a single result of "golf5plus air vent" search. Only this video for Tiguan.At this video looks easy, but my vents don't want to came out, even with great pressure !

Sorry for responding to a five year old video, however I had never heard of this before...
1) can installation be into lower vent?
2) is there any short or long term adversity to display unit from cold or hot air blasting through vent?

Hello,
You can install the display into either the top or bottom vent.
Our gauges are tested in extreme heat (200+ Degrees F) and extreme cold (-20 F) and still work great!

Since there are many vents in the Tiguan... Why not just cover that vent 100%.. it will be nicer and more display area

We try to make all our gauges look as integrated as possible. If our display still functions as a vent it blends into the interior much better. -Jake
