Sir, First of all, thank you, because I know it takes a lot of time to make this type of video (very educational). I have the score, and it allowed me to precisely note the "beats and off-beats" because I wasn't very sure of my rhythmic precision. (especially on the slightly complicated measurements), for me at least. At least I will be able to work calmly, not only on the piece but on my rhythmic precision. (excellent exercise in fact). You are the only one who "counts" and that obviously brings us a lot from what I have read in the comments. Have a nice day to you and everyone " From France !!! " Michel-Henri (I use "translate.google" hoping that there are not too many errors..but it seems quite precise because I have already had answers in French which were very correct)
Thank you very much for your message, I was very pleased. Unfortunately I don't count in all the videos, sometimes only the metronome is running, but if counting is more helpful than the metronome, I can go back to only counting in the future, or combine the metronome and counting. That might be the idea from the combination. Thank you very much for your feedback. If you need help, please do not hesitate to contact me. The translation is absolutely ok. Wow, thanks - my teacher always told me I should read, not guess, and there are one or two bits I've been doing wrong! I was amazed to see/hear the C natural at bar 24. I wonder if there's a consensus about which Bach intended. I now need to find this with the C natural at performance tempo, although I can't see it turning me on. This slow tempo will be very useful for beginners, but, if you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism, I would consider being a little more consistent with the trills - some you miss entirely, others you do quite differently from how they're written - and maybe they ought to be slower, in keeping with the slower tempo.
Thank you very much for your message and your comment. This Bach Marcello is one of the older recordings I've made on this channel. And when I look back at the videos I've made, I always think that it could be done even better. I remember having a music edition back then that was not always quite correct, especially with the ornaments. I really appreciate your constructive and kind criticism. The trills are really not quite ideal - admittedly 😉. That's why I decided to re-record the whole piece and listen to some of the recordings and compare the execution of the trills. The thrillers are often done in different ways, except maybe the murder one, and somehow I have to decide on a good and justifiable version. I never thought that this would be one of the videos that people would watch the most. Another reason to go back over the books and re-record the whole thing. Thank you very much for your input. It taught me a lot again. I will also play the whole piece in tempo, but I have to expect that there will be another copyright reference. See you soon and best regards
