Definitely one of my favorites in their arsenal. Be'lakor is one of the few bands I know that like to interpret a story and let that story be the whole contributor to the song. Everything relates to it, from songwriting to performance. Truly inspring stuff :) Thanks a lot, Z!
Beautiful song, one of the best bands I have ever listened to. The melodies and time signatures in this one are mindblowing. And then to think I haven't enjoyed this album from the start, but it just grows on you. Storytelling Melodic Death metal, must be an own genre by now ❤
Be'lakor are weird like that. I wasn't super impressed right away but after a few listens I realized how awesome it actually was. Some of their older songs are like that as well. I've listened to some of their songs literally over a thousand times, over the course of 10 years, and still can sit down or go for a walk and enjoy them.
Be'lakor delivers everytime, after being exposed to many songs from them and really liking it you can go and listen to any of their catalog and be fascinated, like "Hidden WIndow", "By Moon and Star", or even the one that i find their best one "Locus", that shows all their inspirations and what they do best, compressed all-in-one.
I think after watching your reactions the next logical song from be'lakor would be withering strands. Lots of ups and downs during this magnificent piece if music. Keep up the great work Much love from Canada.
Musikalisch durchaus interessant, wenn nur dieses langweilige „growling“ nicht wäre. Nichts gegen growling wenn es als Stilmittel eingesetzt wird, aber auch hier wird es durchgehend eingesetzt und (im besten Fall) langweilt nach kurzer Zeit nur noch.
Ist halt wie alles in der Musik alles eine Frage des persönlichen und subjektiven Geschmacks. Mir gefällt auch nicht alles, wenn es auch vielleicht den Anschein macht, weil die Community hier so gute Songs vorschlägt. 😀👍
