I mean thr wolves were an already iffy offense even with KAT. And this is not hate on Ant, but I find it hard for the Wolves to survive long term with Ant being 4th (qualified players) in the NBA in usage % but yet only averaging 5 assists. thats not good at all. this team still doesn’t still move the ball well and now we don’t have a 2nd scorer. sure Naz Reid is amazing, but we are not a serious team if he is a consistent 2nd option respectfully. this team NEEDS kat back
Gonna be extra important for Jaden to recognize when he has mismatches and work to exploit them and give Ant possessions off. In my opinion he does a really poor job of recognizing those and knowing how to get to a shot he wants. Naz, again, is the only one that has progressed his individual game in that regard. Need to see more desire from McDaniels to do the same, and this is the moment to experiment and see what his ceiling actually portends.
Ant was tired and reasonably so. You can't do what he did in the 4th Q against Indy and then supposed to be fresh against a team that was stacking up against him. Finch needs to get his deeper bench covering minutes, even if they don't score, it protects tired legs that this team is going to face the last 19 games. Not Ant's fault.
He was terrible, but he played 40 minutes the night before and was beat up. He also got no calls in the Cleveland game With that said, he typically struggles against the Lakers, so I expect more of the same tonight

Are we just going to ignore how bad ANT was the game AFTER he scored 44?
