So glad to hear Ethan's dad speak, glad he was given the opportunity to speak more. He seems like a gentle kind man. So heartbreaking for the families. I can't begin to imagine their pain.. I wish I could just sit and listen to Mr. Chapin. Whenever I see his face, I can see how sad and broken-hearted he is. All of the surviving parents have so much to deal with, from the time they wake till the time they close their eyes to sleep. If they can sleep.
You can't help feel broken hearted for Maddie's dad. Such a beautiful young daughter..can't even imagine.

One of the scariest and most heartbreaking cases of all time, imo, especially since it appears to be semi-random or stalking-based.
These kids would all be SO proud of these parents. They are absolute warriors. The love they have for these kids is palpable yet immeasurable.

14:24 ~ I feel you, Stacy. My eyes are welling up with tears because I would give ANYTHING to hug my forever 18 year old son. I still try to smell his scent in his clothes. The pain is excruciating 💔 and never goes away. Time does NOT heal ❤️🩹 it….you just learn how to navigate through life while carrying the pain…trying to distract your mind 10,000 times a day. Everything is a trigger. I am so incredibly sorry for/to these kids, their families, and all that loved them 🙏🏻.
P.S. My son would have turned 21 yrs old on 11/8. I was a wreck for several weeks leading up to it and I could barely get out of bed the day of. He would have been so tickled and so proud to turn 21. I envisioned him grinning while being carded at a restaurant (that we would have been at with him) after ordering an alcoholic beverage. Just knowing that he could would have made him smile. The day/evening was awful. I just wanted to sleep and wake up when it was over….kind of like the holidays. I wish I could blink and it would be January 2nd. Happy Birthday to your sweet TRIO 🩵💖🩵.
I’m so sincerely sorry to hear that you lost your son. I have a 22 year old daughter and I couldn’t fathom losing her. Love, light and peace from one mother to another mother. ❤

When Ethan's mom was reading the Boy Who Wore Blue, I absolutely broke. I cannot imagine the pain his parents and siblings are dealing with. All of the families of every victim. They did not deserve this tragic event, and I hope justice prevails.

The way Ethan’s parent speak about him….. It seems like people who die young seem to live their life to the fullest , almost like in 6th gear? I experienced this with my brother in law who died at 42. I don’t know whatnot make of this . But it brings me comfort to know they fully took advantage of the time they had.

I watched the video of the coverage recently. So incredibly heartbreaking that these young lives were taken. I always thought about the 2 surviving friends, how it must be daunting to be alive when you could have been killed too.

I think these parents are extremly strong and without them I would be having a harder time dealing with this myself. They are helping to heal the world with their strengths bc these kids took a part of me with them a part of millions of us with them. I cry my eyes out and feel like my heart has been shatterd. Then I see these parents and cry harder but I AM SO GRATEFUL TO SEE THEM AND LISTEN TO EVERY WORD. They are all heroes to me as they're kids are to me too. I believe that whoever committed the crimes knew the layout of the house, knew who slept in each room. And the person knew that the bedroom door was open. And how would he enter a house with 6 cars in the garage. Something tells me it was someone from the Brotherhood

She may have been spooked and just assumed it was a friend of one of her roommates.
There is so much we don’t know about what she did/didnt do, what was normal for the house, the state she was in, what she thought, etc. it seems like it makes sense to the police, though, and they do have her whole story!
Why only county jail til then is strange. It Is a miserable sm.cell. Maybe they want him to be miserable is why the trial date is not being set .

I just started seriously researching this case and reading everything I can get my hands on and watching every documentary and video I can find. At this point, I’ve seen and heard all the evidence that was released to the public and in my opinion, this is not an open and shut case but there’s a large amount of circumstantial evidence that points to the suspect. Things like 13 different times his phone was pinged very close to the house, his car seen multiple times circling the house multiple times the night of the murders, his dna on the knife case found under the body of Matty, his dark reddit posts, following and liking all the pictures on the girl’s social media accounts, his interactions with police when pulled over on that cross country trip, disposing his trash in his neighbors trash cans wearing rubber gloves at 1 in the morning when he was arrested. What sticks out to me is I’ve never heard the suspect claim he’s innocent or say “I didn’t do it.” All he has said is I look forward to being exonerated. Given his dark background and criminology studies, I think he just wanted to commit murder and try to get away with it. I believe he’s mentally disturbed, a narcissist, and a sociopath who has no regard for human life. Given the large amount of circumstantial evidence that he cannot explain away and his weak alibi of just driving around alone at the time of the murders, I believe they got the right guy and I hope the families get the justice they deserve.

If the person she saw was the perpetrator and the entire attack only took 8/9 minutes, he would have most definitely breathing heavy plus she reported him only walking toward her and then out through the kitchen sliding door.
