After 20yrs in the states and STILL getting random questions about my accent (im from Sweden) I started watching your videos.. and I never realized its my intonation that was giving it away. Im now way more aware of my tone going up and down. In the past year (since listening to you and doing your mouth warmups) people STILL ask about my accent every now and then BUT they now think im from a different state vs a different country LMAO (im in CA) 😂🤷♀
This was such a fantastic speech. I was nodding along/laughing in the cinema. Thank you for doing this deep dive into how to pronounce this monologue. It's really interesting to see how America delivers this powerful message through her use of word stress/intonation to emphasise contrasts. And of course the reductions are still pronounced unclearly even though it's a monologue, not a dialogue. Spoken English is endlessly fascinating, especially in the movies!
This exercise is so useful when I can see your mouth movements and learn the intonation at the same time. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching us.
Thank you for sharing, Hadar! Great shadowing and monologue! The monologue especially resonates with me today because I was accused of complaining when I simply pointing out some bad behaviors. It's literally written for me. I watched the movie a few weeks ago, but I wasn't able to capture all the script completely. So Thank you for this video lesson and the monologue transcript! 🤗❤️
👎👎👎 Nothing is of any use. Only an American has an American accent. Totally frustrated with learning English pronunciation & very upset with myself 😔😔😔

Very nice!
She says: "so pretty" and "too hard, too contradictory". When do we use "so" and "too"?
Could you post more shadowing videos
Think you for the great job that you do for no English native American speaker
I really like the way you break down the words
