One of the two games I immediately thought of when I heard that. The other was No More Heroes, wherein the main character shouts "Fuckhead!" during the intro. As he turns two people into blood showers.
Just seeing this video now and I'm not surprised to see myself at 5:28 😅 Glad I was able to cement myself permanently in the Wii shovelware pantheon by committing the greatest sacrifice a few years back... Don't plan on ever returning even if my record gets beaten. I'm an action girl myself now and I don't need to play a crappy Wii game to prove it :P
People should do a Data Design marathon since they’re so short in any%. I don’t think enough people hate themselves enough to play Ninjabread Man, Anubis II, and Rock n Roll back to back.
2:59 Another Wii game with censored swearing is Grease, based off the 1978 film, so its covers of the songs have some words blanked out. Luckily, the uncensored versions of these covers are present in Grease Dance, created by the same devs as Grease on the Wii, so the opportunity is there for an uncensored mod if there was anybody willing.
I was eagerly awaiting the mention of M&M racing on this list haha! Because of your old 50 minutes long video on it I think of you as the queen of Wii shovelware speedrunning (even if it's just that game it's not like I know anyone else who runs or documents games like that), so this is a very fitting video for you to put out 😄 I love hearing about people inexplicably deciding to run absurdly obscure and/or poorly made games like this!
The Wii was the golden era of shovelware... because they were making PHYSICAL COPIES of these things and people were buying. Switch, while also bad, most of them are digital junk.
The one notable will game that I know that has swearing in it along with it being for a older audience was No More Heroes. Surprised that no one really mentioned that.
You can't go insulting Imagine Party Babyz! That game got a 7.5 from IGN. Yes they gave it that score. I love weird and bad speedruns. There's just something so interesting about them especially with how unoptimized they are. I'm also curious if the DDI game Trixie in Toyland features the same glitches since it was also made using the GODS engine and is basically the same game as the others but somehow worse.
Hence the fact there was a Tumblr (or maybe it was Twitter?) account for a while that posted "did it score better than Imagine Party Babyz?" about a ton of well known games. And a lot of them didn't.
I've never knew someone who had a Wii or played as far as I can remember, but I know a lot who had a Play 2 or Play 1, I guess its the cultural difference
I did speedruns of WALL-E (Wii) for a while, which is pretty much a shitty port of the XBOX 360/Playstation 3, but with very simple motion controls. It's cut down (some parts of levels are completely cut up), horribly optimized (you will never have a consistent fps), and overall just a worse experience. However, I still enjoy speedrunning it despite its obvious flaws because the platforming is that good.
1 category that I've ran thats really weird, that's actually sort of popular is the wii fitness on the wii sports game, where most of it just do nothing.
I'd prefer more of a "weird games to speedrun but the speedrun is actually good" vibe. I'd also like the run explainations to be more in depth. The Ninjabread man explaination was good explain thing's more like that
There was a Wii game called Mad World. That had a bunch of swearing (although bleeped) within it.
The combat game in that game was so damn fun.
Mad World is an absolute hidden gem. It’s Platinum before they hit it big with Bayonetta and their licensed games.

As someone who played Ninjabread Man as a kid
It really is that bad
My favourite bad wii game speedrun is rayman raving rabbids 2. The run literally consists of mostly doing nothing and preying for short minigames
food network cook or be cooked may be one of the best cooking games ever created, just saying

Don't forget you've got to do Trixie in Toyland too if you're doing all the platformers.

9:32 OMG watch his soul exit his body when the ball falls into the gummy water, hilarious
i have no idea who silo simon is but i assume they're an absolute legend
it’s like rule 34 if it exists someone will speedrun it
Eminem Kart Racing is an intriguing idea...

I remember playing Up the videogame on Wii. I wonder how runs of that are like
1:07 wow thats me
Wow this is great, I am just in time looks like. I searched "weirdest wii speedruns" and here is this video posted 3 weeks ago!

Here's something else that's weird:
VTech VSmile speedruns. Yes, they exist. No, I'm not the only person who's done them.
Nice to hear.
I actually bought a V smile I saw at a thrift store in September, and want to try running with it eventually haha
@@Storster Nice.
Alvin & the Chipmunks has the best Love Shack cover

Haven't checked in on your channel in a while, congrats on the transition queen! Hope all is well
There are plenty of Wii games with swearing. House of the Dead Overkill probably has by far the most though. It's quite hilarious.

i never had a wii but for some reason i bought a wii game for my birthday one time (rhythm heaven fever)
Nice compilation.
I’d speedrun Ninjabread Man just to see if it can be done without the game breaking. 😂
I have an answer as to why people speedrun them: "easy WR" :D
