Claire, I'm an Aries and Kenzo Jungle has been my signature for more than 25 years now, since the scent was released (I was still in school). I was SHOCKED you hit the nail on the head right away. That scent is definitely for people who open doors with their stiletto, and that's us, Arieses😇🌼 The damage Jungle did over those 25 years 😅😅😅 Infatuated men smelt me on their pillows, scarves weeks later... My classroom/office enemies got headaches... 😇😇😇 Jungle is definitely the perfume of a lifetime for me!

As an Aries I want strong sillage perfumes but at the same time I'm really fond of Burberry Goddess which calms me down and makes me feel good. I guess lavander and cinnamon does the job. Spices yes ! I want special and different scents. No roses or Jasmine plz...... they are boring..... only smelled L'interdit of your suggested perfumes 😢 and didn't like it.... Taken with a grain of salt but a fun concept. I’m a Cancerian and have been committed to the Issey Miyake l’eau d’Issey and the subsequent flankers for decades. This year I’m craving solar white florals with frangipani, gardenia and tuberose. This has however led me to Elie Saab’s line and in to Le Parfum Royal a rose patchouli fragrance as per your recommendation for my sign.

I really enjoyed thinking about this 😊 I love scenting ideas ☺️ I guess l'eau d'issey fits with the water sign aspect actually, but wow, I love solar florals 😂 I'm trying to wean myself away from them because I have a few now but they always feel so sunny and happy 🙂 Sad that le Parfum Royal is discontinued now. @@chandracox6814 My favourite perfume of all time is Dior addict but If I wanted to stick to a stereotypical description of the aries sign I think I would choose obsession by Calvin clein. I used to have the original formulation and to me it smelt like cinnamon, warm and spicy.

As you said, we can be unpredictable, so some days I want a scent that stands out a bit more but never a loud, overpowering, "beast mode" scent. Virgo rising... Today it rained in Toronto and I’m wearing Chanel Cristalle EDP, which has a lot of cold green, earthy notes with a little bit of flowers and fruits.

This is such a fun one. I'm a virgo and the description is definitely apt. Even though I have a broad spectrum of preferences, I naturally gravitate towards warm, enveloping perfumes with fruitiness, soft florals (preferably powdery), sweetness from maybe caramel, honey etc and of course, vanilla! So, "Si" definitely ticks some of these boxes for sure.
Aries here!! You described Aries perfectly. I'm everything you described. Kenzo Jungle L'elephant is a great fragrance. A little vintage leaning IMO but still so beautiful. I used to own a bottle but I decluttered it because I never had an opportunity to wear it. Givenchy L'interdit Rouge, on the other hand, is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. I would also say Taurus is more Gourmand since they are foodies and they love comfort food. And I disagree with Aquarius, I think they wouldnt like something simple or soft, they want something weird and out of the box, but light at the same time.

As a Virgoan your fragrance picks are almost spot on! I'm wearing Oui Je T'aime by Linn Young which is a dupe for Si and seriously considering getting Amethyst atm. I'm also drawn to perfumes with lots of patchouli like Angel, maybe because of its earthy feel and we are earth signs. Thanks for the fun video!

Hi Claire. Good idea to cover the topic of Zodiac, even for fun. Me as a Gemini I think citrusy ingredients is part of us, as Geminis are quite dual. Personally, I love citruses and I like green fragrances, but I think our heavier or darker side is needed to complete the profile. In my case, as I am near the Cancer in the horoscope I befit some of its characteristics more than straight fun and social Gemini. We are airy, but we are also dreamy and can have depth, which is not perceived as depth but rather as some "looming" quality, therefore I gravitate towards incense. Rose, leather and tobacco are also in the play. I think verveine is a very suitable Gemini fragrance too.

But - Vivienne Westwood Boudoir, John Galliano, Gres Cabaret and Givenchy Very Irresistible Edt are my staples. And Kelly Caleche. JPG Ma Dame is a quirky one. I don´t even wear them so much, they ŕe just there, for a bottle sniffing experience. From those i don´t own but would fit the bill - YSL Rive Gauche- such a complex and beautiful perfume. There is just so many... Forgot to add Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede.
I bought my mum a 100ml Rive Gauche for Christmas, it's her favourite and her signature. Kelly Caleche I love! And peony and blush suede is pretty too 😊

Libra Sun here! Personally, I prefer vanilla amber fragrances that are suggested for Virgos. My collection is filled with both of those notes especially amber. Funnily though - 90% of my compliments come from clean fragrances: Musc Noir, Pure Poison. Exactly what you said! lol So it works for me even if my other placement with Virgo makes me prefer the amber fragrances.

I never really used to relate to my Scorpio sign, but the older I get I can see parts of myself that embody the Scorpio personality. Especially after learning about decans.. Venus in Cancer(super feminine, I have a lot of Victoria's Secret Mist and Ariana Grande) and as a Gemini MC I like having options and wear different perfumes at work ☺️💕

Very interesting! I'm a Leo, but hate yellow florals, so while I think others would fit well with your choices, they aren't for me. I was cracking up listening to the Cancer traits, my dad is a Cancer, but he is the least emotional person I know. I asked him if he ever missed his parents or sister who passed away and he was like I don't really think about people when they're gone 😧

OMG🤣 I clicked on this video thinking it would be a load of crap, skipped straight to Sagittarius and was pleasantly surprised at the accurate description of me. Then you went on to choose my favorite fragrance of all time/ the 1st designer fragrance I've ever purchased, Gucci Rush 😍😍😍😍 My jaw dropped! Its sooo me. Angel Muse is one of my other favorites as Mugler and I share the same birthday. It's so funny that you said Kilian's Angel Share and spoke to the Brandy note because though I'm not that much of an Angel's Share girl, I did just purchase Kilian's Apple Brandy 😂It smells intoxicating. I enjoy the ideas behind it and I like reading about it. I do think there is crossover with who I am with my sun, moon and rising signs, but I guess that is going to be correct for most people to some degree. Really how I think of myself is exactly how I described Pisces in this video. That's me. Having said that, I don't live my life based on any of this, I just appreciate that there is overlap for me and I have no idea whether that is coincidence or something more.

This was fun! I’m an Aquarian and don’t care for musks or molecule perfumes. However, Iris and Sandalwood are two of my favorite notes. Also I tend to be a bit of an under sprayer, preferring to smell the fragrance myself to broadcasting it to others. I guess that means that I make all of my perfumes into skin scents 😂.

I am amazed that any of my picks are vaguely correct for this 🤣 Iris and sandalwood are lovely though, I never thought I'd enjoy iris until I tried Prada infusion d'iris, I finished a little bottle of that one. I now really like Lunar Dust because it's not heavy and I love the sparkly feel to it! With sandalwood, if you like a really milky gourmand style sandalwood, I would recommend l'Orchestre Parfums Piano Santal, that's delicious! Thanks for watching 🥰
As a Scorpio, I agree with the dark rich fragrances but since I have gone through more than 100 perfumes, I also like scents with tobacco like Chergui and Jazz Club, rich or gothic ones like Crystal Noir, Midnight Poison, and Encre Noire but also tea fragrances like Tea Escape, Flowerbomb Leau. Also love chypres like Citizen Queen, Soul of the Forest, green fragrances like Under the Lemon Trees and Green Lover, unusual floral fruity scents like Lipstick Fever and gourmands like Lira. Super loved this video.
Chergui, Jazz Club, Encore Noire and Midnight Poison are all Scorpio fragrances for sure! I don't think I've tried Citizen Queen nor Soul of the Forest. I'm really happy that you enjoyed the video 🥰

That is funny! 😂 Violet and musc are beautiful, did you try Viole Nere by Meo Fusciuni? You have to like orris too, but it's such an interesting violet and a bit gothic. I like the sweet violets and the more savoury ones too, this is more savoury. 🥰
I must have a lot of capricorn in my chart (or whatever...I don't know much about this stuff, but I LOVE it!) because although I share NONE of the characteristics of being one, I have and love all of the scents mentioned for them! I love a good chypre! I have the Nomad Absolu, and it's very strong and long-lasting and quite loud. :)

Yes I agree, it's highly unlikely that we can put everyone in 12 boxes, but I guess people who do follow this would also argue that there are moon and rising signs too to take into account so this doesn't ever really cut it. Hey Dr. Claire. Although I’m not fully invested in the zodiac per se I can enjoy the various descriptions. I don’t fully fit my Leo sign as I am quite introverted. I’m forever on a quest not to be seen outside of my intimate of family and friends for the most part. I actually have my Terracotta to my Pisces sister because it just didn’t work for me. I dont believe in horoscope but i do find this take on fragrance is very creative. I’m Virgo and I do love blackcurrant/cassis and amber notes in fragrance. White mountain by Bjork and Berries and Cassopeia by Tirana Terenzi have interesting blackcurrant note. I think you could add Libertine Neroli by Francesca Bianchi into Gemini or Leo description. It will remind you the hedonistic lifestyle of the talented Mr Ripley. Since Cancer is very emphatetic, grouchy, moody and connected to the Moon, I would suggest The Moon by Frederic Malle and Crab Apple by Clive Christian. L'Imperatrice by Dolce&Gabbana sounds interesting to me. I would also suggest the New Look by Dior for Libra. I love the Yuzu note in the opening and the airy clean bed sheet smell in the dry down. Scorpio personality sounds like a mob boss / high level mafioso personality. I agreed with the choose the note which is smoky and incensy. I can imagine Tony Soprano or Don Corleoni wear Amber Fougere V by Clive Christian. It smells like an old school mafioso. Sagittarius sounds fun, spontanoues, silly and outgoing. They smells greedy too. Amouge overture men / women could fit within Sagittarius realm too. I dont know why i have impression from the video that you smells like a Capricorn. But actually you are not Capricorn - based from the comments. But since Pisces is a poet, I think Chypre would also fit into Pisces profile.
You are very knowledgeable and your choices fit the personality descriptions well. White Mountain looks like one I'd enjoy. I need to get the Francesca Bianchi discovery set and review those. The Moon I've tried, it's a big fragrance! New Look is also really lovely, very classic. I think I could happily own half of the Dior Privée line. I do enjoy chypres for sure. My mum is a Capricorn, when I was describing the personality and also choosing the fragrances, I was thinking of her a little. I am also not so sure about astrology, but I do enjoy pairing fragrances with personalities so I had fun with this video at least. I just went to try Creed Love in Black on my way home from work. Love in Black Creed sounds very very interesting to me. I can imagine it is an elegant perfume suitable for evening wear. There must be an element of darkness in the perfume perhaps that make it sexy. Maybe i should give it a sniff. I love to smell blackcurrant/ sweet berries notes. By the way i just tried Guidance from Amouage at work today and got so many compliments. It has a lingering scent trails. Now i can appreciate why this fragrance is attractive to female noses at least. To me Guidance smells like a sexy fruity female bare body skin next to your nose. It is a quite tricky perfume to wear for me. Maybe next time someone can pair films or movies with fragrances. It will be interesting. Have a nice day and best wishes!

As an Aries I want strong sillage perfumes but at the same time I'm really fond of Burberry Goddess which calms me down and makes me feel good. I guess lavander and cinnamon does the job. Even though I have a broad spectrum of preferences, I naturally gravitate towards warm, enveloping perfumes with fruitiness, soft florals (preferably powdery), sweetness from maybe caramel, honey etc and of course, vanilla! Aries here!! You described Aries perfectly. I'm everything you described. Kenzo Jungle L'elephant is a great fragrance. A little vintage leaning IMO but still so beautiful. I used to own a bottle but I decluttered it because I never had an opportunity to wear it. Givenchy L'interdit Rouge, on the other hand, is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. I wanted to add my own personal favorite fragrance that fits Aries perfectly. That fragrance is Chloe Nomade Absolu. It's such an incredible fragrance. Warm and earthy yet unique with the mix of Mirabelle Plum and Oakmoss. It's the fragrance that got me into this hobby in the first place. What do you think? ❤🥰✌️

Hi Claire. Good idea to cover the topic of Zodiac, even for fun. Me as a Gemini I think citrusy ingredients is part of us, as Geminis are quite dual. Personally, I love citruses and I like green fragrances, but I think our heavier or darker side is needed to complete the profile. In my case, as I am near the Cancer in the horoscope I befit some of its characteristics more than straight fun and social Gemini. We are airy, but we are also dreamy and can have depth, which is not perceived as depth but rather as some "looming" quality, therefore I gravitate towards incense. Rose, leather and tobacco are also in the play. I think verveine is a very suitable Gemini fragrance too.

I don´t even wear them so much, they ŕe just there, for a bottle sniffing experience. From those i don´t own but would fit the bill - YSL Rive Gauche- such a complex and beautiful perfume. There is just so many...

Libra Sun here! Personally, I prefer vanilla amber fragrances that are suggested for Virgos. My collection is filled with both of those notes especially amber.
Funnily though - 90% of my compliments come from clean fragrances: Musc Noir, Pure Poison. Exactly what you said! lol So it works for me even if my other placement with Virgo makes me prefer the amber fragrances.

OMG🤣 I clicked on this video thinking it would be a load of crap, skipped straight to Sagittarius and was pleasantly surprised at the accurate description of me. Then you went on to choose my favorite fragrance of all time/ the 1st designer fragrance I've ever purchased, Gucci Rush 😍😍😍😍 My jaw dropped! Its sooo me. Angel Muse is one of my other favorites as Mugler and I share the same birthday. It's so funny that you said Kilian's Angel Share and spoke to the Brandy note because though I'm not that much of an Angel's Share girl, I did just purchase Kilian's Apple Brandy 😂It smells intoxicating. Love it. I really appreciate a person speaking on zodiacs and actually knowing what they're talking about. Your Aquarius reading was spot on as well. I enjoy the ideas behind it and I like reading about it. I do think there is crossover with who I am with my sun, moon and rising signs, but I guess that is going to be correct for most people to some degree. Really how I think of myself is exactly how I described Pisces in this video. That's me. Having said that, I don't live my life based on any of this, I just appreciate that there is overlap for me and I have no idea whether that is coincidence or something more.

This was fun! I’m an Aquarian and don’t care for musks or molecule perfumes. However, Iris and Sandalwood are two of my favorite notes. Also I tend to be a bit of an under sprayer, preferring to smell the fragrance myself to broadcasting it to others. I guess that means that I make all of my perfumes into skin scents 😂.

I am amazed that any of my picks are vaguely correct for this 🤣 Iris and sandalwood are lovely though, I never thought I'd enjoy iris until I tried Prada infusion d'iris, I finished a little bottle of that one. I now really like Lunar Dust because it's not heavy and I love the sparkly feel to it! As a Scorpio, I agree with the dark rich fragrances but since I have gone through more than 100 perfumes, I also like scents with tobacco like Chergui and Jazz Club, rich or gothic ones like Crystal Noir, Midnight Poison, and Encre Noire but also tea fragrances like Tea Escape, Flowerbomb Leau. Also love chypres like Citizen Queen, Soul of the Forest, green fragrances like Under the Lemon Trees and Green Lover, unusual floral fruity scents like Lipstick Fever and gourmands like Lira. Super loved this video.

Hey Dr. Claire. Although I’m not fully invested in the zodiac per se I can enjoy the various descriptions. I don’t fully fit my Leo sign as I am quite introverted. I’m forever on a quest not to be seen outside of my intimate of family and friends for the most part. I actually have my Terracotta to my Pisces sister because it just didn’t work for me. I dont believe in horoscope but i do find this take on fragrance is very creative. I’m Virgo and I do love blackcurrant/cassis and amber notes in fragrance. White mountain by Bjork and Berries and Cassopeia by Tirana Terenzi have interesting blackcurrant note. I think you could add Libertine Neroli by Francesca Bianchi into Gemini or Leo description. It will remind you the hedonistic lifestyle of the talented Mr Ripley. Since Cancer is very emphatetic, grouchy, moody and connected to the Moon, I would suggest The Moon by Frederic Malle and Crab Apple by Clive Christian. L'Imperatrice by Dolce&Gabbana sounds interesting to me. I would also suggest the New Look by Dior for Libra. I love the Yuzu note in the opening and the airy clean bed sheet smell in the dry down. Scorpio personality sounds like a mob boss / high level mafioso personality. I agreed with the choose the note which is smoky and incensy. I can imagine Tony Soprano or Don Corleoni wear Amber Fougere V by Clive Christian. It smells like an old school mafioso. Sagittarius sounds fun, spontanoues, silly and outgoing. They smells greedy too. Amouge overture men / women could fit within Sagittarius realm too. I dont know why i have impression from the video that you smells like a Capricorn. But actually you are not Capricorn - based from the comments. But since Pisces is a poet, I think Chypre would also fit into Pisces profile.

I do enjoy chypres for sure. My mum is a Capricorn, when I was describing the personality and also choosing the fragrances, I was thinking of her a little.
I am also not so sure about astrology, but I do enjoy pairing fragrances with personalities so I had fun with this video at least.

@@dr.claire.perfume pairing personalities with fragrances is fun and this what makes this video fun to watch. Francesca Bianchi is a self-taught perfumer and i like her confidence. Love in Black Creed sounds very very interesting to me. I can imagine it is an elegant perfume suitable for evening wear. There must be an element of darkness in the perfume perhaps that make it sexy. Maybe i should give it a sniff. I love to smell blackcurrant/ sweet berries notes. By the way i just tried Guidance from Amouage at work today and got so many compliments. It has a lingering scent trails. Now i can appreciate why this fragrance is attractive to female noses at least. To me Guidance smells like a sexy fruity female bare body skin next to your nose. It is a quite tricky perfume to wear for me. Maybe next time someone can pair films or movies with fragrances. It will be interesting. Have a nice day and best wishes!
