Great choices. We definitely share some similar taste in brands/selections. I love Amouage - Jubilation Man for a few occasions now that I think about it. Bois du Portugal by Creed is another scent I enjoy for really upscale events for that old-school vibe. From Chanel, the original Allure Homme works for me nicely. If I had to pick just one for any and all formal occasions, though...it has to be Safari Extreme by Abdul Samad Al Qurashi. It's so beautiful and complex...crushes everything else for me right now.
I got the Dior Homme Parfum late last year directly from Dior's website here in Germany, so not discontinued. Favorite formal fragrances of mine, no particular order: Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum Houbigant Fougere Royale Terre de Hermes (both Parfum and the EDT, so not just the EDT) Bleu de Chanel Edp Prada L'Homme Intense Dior Homme Intense Dior Homme Parfum Honorable mentions: Gucci Intense Oud, Versace Oud Noir, Davidoff Zino, Guerlain Vetiver, Lalique Encre Noire, Bentley for Men Absolute
My favorite formal fragrance is Jubilation XXV in Spring, Summer, and Early Fall, but I like Overture Man in the Winter and Late Fall. Amouage Interlude Black Iris is a fragrance BOMB!!! Way too aggressive for me. However, Amouage Overture is somewhat similar but toned down considerably. Amouage Jubilation XXV also has the same resins and incense as the other two but is the lightest of them all. Jubilation XXV opens with blackberry and honey and this very slight sweetness provides a counter balance to the resins and incense. It is very luxurious. Overture Man provides a perfect balance between something like Jubilation XXV and Interlude Black Iris. People will smell you wearing Jubilation XXV, but it isn't too aggressive. Overture Man is aggressive and they will definitely smell you, but in a good way. Interlude Black Iris Man and the original Interlude Man are absolute beasts that will get a WTF have you been smoking reaction.
Great list and I enjoyed it and I had a sample of amouage interlude black iris and it's a 10 out of 10 and I like bleu de chanel parfum and it's a 9 out of 10 and I'm going to try the other fragrances and have a blessed day
Bottega Veneta too is a good formal wear perfume I feel. It's classy and yet smells light and fresh enough that you can also wear it to office or as a daily and not smell too overpowering.
hello Monika, great review as usual, always easy to look at and listen to, also like the camera work and display of the bottles and sprayer . keep it up
Hi Monika Luv your channel especially the start "321 lets do this...." On a serious note my all time favourite is Terre d' Hermes...The compliments doesn't stop My latest discovery is BR540 Wow👍 Can't get enough of it...
Hello monika nice video review love your charisma. Id like to know what you think of Joop homme, its a classic from '89 but it is a bomb in a bottle women absolutely love it
I have never smelled Dior Homme Parfum, but I was told that Futura La Homme EDP by Armaf is a dupe! And it is very cheap, and I bought it! I live in Ohio(USA)and it is almost impossible to find Dior Homme Parfum!
Terre d'Hermes line... I keep thinking that I'm alone with the opinion, that this is downright a bad DNA. Orange/Earth mix makes anyone smell age 70+. Once in a while, I go to my samples and try it out, because I think there must be something wrong with my nose, since everyone seems to love it. But no, it is still as bad as always.
you probably smell the harsh opening and think: "ohh f*ck this is definitely a bad fragnance, let's f*cking throw it away" Trust me the drydown smells heaven, give the fragnance a chance

Is club de nuit intense edp goo
For formal occasions my go to is Bleu de Chanel but in the Parfum concentration. I have the EDP too but the Parfum, I feel, is just so classy.
Green irish tweed is my special occasion scent
Monika, Dior Homme Parfum is not discontinued. It's available on Dior's French, Italian and German websites
And You can add the UK site to that list. Yes, it’s no longer 75ml but I’m sure it’s been confirmed to be the exact same batch/formulation
Terre d’Hermes and royal oud are probably my of all time favourites
Really like bleu d Chanel and Dior home parfum too
Dior Homme Parfum is on the German Dior Website, so I don't think it's discontinued
Creed royal oud is one of my faves absolutely stunning frag 👍🏼

For me
No 1: Terre d hermes
No 2: Cartier declaration
Nice video thanks
Hi, Monika! Wonderful video as always!
Thank you for watching
When you like Vetiver (Terre Hermes) you should try Chanel Sycomore. This is my all time best frag
Will definitely check on this I love Terre D’Hermes and TF Grey Vetiver.
Lalique ence noir al extreme , Harod , Jubilation xxv , and MFK Grand Soir .
Yes, loved the energy on the countdown!
I rarely have to deal with formal occasions but I'd either go with Amouage Reflection Man or Zion by Alexandria Fragrances.
Royal Oud -- standout Creed. I have a decant, but I might go for a full bottle relatively soon. Seems like a 'wise' decision 😎✌
I like YSL Tuxedo for this type of occasion
Monkia, you must try Epic Man and Sunshine Man by Amouage if you haven't. So good!
Great reviews Ms. Monika, as usual...... "THUMBS UP"🥊🔔
Pasha De Cartier is a super classy formal scent
Hi Monika
Luv your channel especially the start "321 lets do this...."

Royal Oud is amazing,so much so that it has gotten lost by the courier once, and stolen twice from me when it was"delivered".
Dior Sauvage Elixir
For formal I more prefer Intense Oud Gucci. Is really very very sexy...
The atomizer on Gravitas, tho😳
Dior Homme PARFUM is N O T discontinued !!!!!!!
Dior Homme Parfum is NOT discontinued! Don't buy it just for fear!
I'm so upset that I can't but Dior Homme Parfum in the United States
