Versace Eros is STUNNING in the winter, near to below freezing temperatures! It projects a lot so you still don't need a ton of sprays, and the sweetness is toned down a touch that gives it more depth!

@@mikacmiky Well listen man.. Eros edp isn't better than the edt so you are ok with that.. On my skin the flame lasts forever but I don't like the smell. What size of eros did you buy? 100ml or 200ml? Anyway I hope at least you like the smell (I really love the smell of eros) and at least now you know there's something that they did to eros. I don't know why jeremy doesn't talk about it and gents scent say that eros still lasts really long time I really don't know..
Bleu de Chanel was one of my first scents and it will be in my collection for ever. Such a pleasurable scent! My collection was first based on reading the notes and surprising myself but as I progressed more and more scents were based on reviews and likes. So I started off more or less blind buying and ended up being more reasonable with my decisions. :D
Chanel Allure Homme Sport EDT was the first fragrance ever to wow me. This must have been around 2009. I couldn't believe how good it smelt. Now Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme is my favourite of all time. But I've not tried any niche fragrances as yet. I started collecting properly in the summer of 2020 with a blind buy of D&G Light Blue Intense (200 ml bottle for £50!). This was after I stumbled upon Jeremy Fragrance's channel for the first time. My best blind buys were Hugo Boss Bottled Intense EDP and Versace Man Eau Fraiche EDT. My worst blind buys were Davidoff Cool Water and Perry Ellis Red 360. To me these two smell like cheap cleaning products! My current favourite is Givenchy Gentleman EDP. I think it smells so classy and well blended. Thanks for the consistently excellent videos. I just got into fragrances a couple months ago and I bought Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme and I love it so much. So versatile and it has a good longevity. I love rotating that and YSL Y edp
When I first started I went all out. I really wasn’t educated about discounters and whether they were legitimate, so I paid full retail at places like bergdorf’s. Bought most of the Tom Ford line back then. Uhhg I wish I had started AFTER finding great channels like yours and I would’ve saved a ton of money lol. However I do have a good collection. Thanks for your content! I don’t have blue de Chanel yet because I felt it was so over hyped and probably worn by so many but I think after this video I may grab it.
@@MonikaColognes So it arrived this morning and I must say I love the smell! It does smell posh while still being fresh enough for daytime/office use. It has a little talcum/powdery feel to it as well! However, it's with me (can smell around) for about 2-2.5 hours. In contrast the my Bleu de Chanel/Dolce The One stays with me for 6+ hours easily. To be fair, they are about 4 times the price of this Armaf, so, not complaining! I'll probably use it sparingly through the weekend and finally get a Creed Aventus for special occassions. Nice selections! My first four were CH Men, YSL L'Homme, Guerlain's Vetiver and Dior's Eau Savage edt. A friend gifted me Black Phantom, my first niche. I was off and to the races from there. - From your video I'd say both Chanels (any of the Bleus and AHSEE) are blind buy worthy. The others I think I'd say - smell them first. They are great, but for example, Eros may not be the right fit for some climates, some age groups, etc. They are all at your department store - smell them. The Chanels though - just click buy, imo. (Also if you have the dough, their Exclusive Sycomore is blind buyable.)
To be honest, me as a teenager when I first got into the fragrance world I was obsessed with it. Spent quit a lot of money but its a very interesting hobby 👍
Very good choices for beginners. Bleu de Chanel, AHSEE and CDNIM very versatile and good as signature scents. Encre Noire - amazing cheapie, unique, but a bit polarizing. Versace Eros - good choice for clubbing and situations when you want your fragrance to project and maybe attract some attention. Happy New Year, Monika!

i pulled the trigger blindly. layton testers, eros, bleau channel, roja elysium,aqua di gio, and ysl de la homme. does channel have a more incense/smoldering wood smell. channel could easily be my favorite if the incense smell was stronger. ysl is definitely my favorite thus far thanks to your other video :-) i think i may have found a new hobby :-) loved all your videos so far. youre awesome :-)
I blindly bought guerlain lhomme ideale edp after you made a video on it 7 months ago. I love it I though it would suit me because I’m 16 and it did but because of corona I haven’t had almost no interactions with people outside of my family and I don’t know if people will like it what do you think about it at the moment.

Creed Aventus has its fair share of love & hate in the fragrance community. I am on the side of who loves it & appreciate it. It was my wedding scent. My wife love it on me but with time all good things down to an end not worthy to buy it any more for retails. New batches are weak. Quality is not as good like the previous batches. Plenty of good clones out there. My fav is Explorer by Mont Blanc. Reminds me of the memories that Aventus does. Also doesn’t break the bank. Gray market can be fetched for under $35 bucks.

However, I do love Tabarome Millesime. Not much hype on this fragrance, but I adore this scent. Many feel Tabarome is an acquired scent, but for me it was love at first sniff. In contrast, back in 2010, Aventus just didn't move me.
I have both, but Speicebomb extreme for me wins hands down, sometimes it's hard to know whether the hype is worth your money but I can promise you won't be disappointed if you choose to buy. Hope this helps

Monika has some amazing tips (she was the first to spot riflesso's superior quality, and now I'm *actually* addicted to that fragrance). But I'm completely mystified why all fragrance channels are so in love in Encre Noir. It may be a very high quality scent for very little: but it is simply not suitable for beginners. It has zero versatility/ general appeal. When would a beginner wear it? You're never going to get a compliment because you are wearing a dark vetiver-based fragrance by the name of 'black ink.'
As someone with a weak sense of smell- I still couldn't disagree more. I've gone to bed wearing it and still smelled it 8 hours later when I wake up. People often confuse anosmia to their fragrance with the fragrance itself having poor longevity, and they talk bad about the fragrance. Especially if they do something like spray it on their wrist, and then smell their wrist a lot in the next two hours, and they can no longer smell it bc their brain is automatically blocking it out now. AHSEE is one of my favorite fragrances, and one hundred percent worth the price!
@@Alex-pd4ug thank you for the great reply, I'm from Puerto Rico and the closest Chanel fragrances carrying stores are a bit far and because of this covid restrictions it's been hard for me to take the long drive to test it out and that's my only concern because most of my fragrances are long lasting and I'm planning to always keep it that way.

I like encre noir sport more. It's more wearable in a tropical country.
