Woodman's of Essex - one of the best New England seafood experiences right on the water!

In this video, we visited Woodman's of Essex, the birthplace of the modern fried clam. After developing it in 1916, the recipe remains unchanged, and over a century later Woodman's still serves hundreds of thousands of people per year. It's definitely worth the trip the next time you're in northeast Massachusetts!

I love Woodman's and go there often. But if you're going to show a 2 1/2 minute video about how they invented the fried clam, you should at least show a fried clam plate!
