A few questions. How did you get the midi track to play along with the vertical guide line?
Do you know if this can be done in Studio One?

In Cubase, there's an option to make the playhead follow the MIDI, called auto-scroll. Logic has the feature as well. I'm sure Studio One will have something similar, but I haven't worked with it. Check out the key-commands list!
