    Great level of detail. I love the on screen graphics. The models and terrain are not too shabby either. Keep making these and I'll keep watching.

    Excellent video! I usually find Battle Reports very difficult to watch, but this was an exception. I love how you explain most things, makes it a lot easier to follow, thus making me more invested.

    Fantastic bat Rep, love the terrain, mat and models. The explanation and story were great, clearly lot of work has gone into this. Perhaps a little less time filming the empty dice tray? Best Mantic batrep I've seen on the net to date. Definite inspiration to keep on expanding my deadzone forces. Thanks guys.

    Last question I promise. Couldn't you still fire at the shielded units to get suppression tokens on there? Page 63 says "Shields do not affect Blaze Away actions or the amount of Suppression applied by an attack." So I took that as you would still get 1 suppression token for hitting the unit even though the hit was absorbed by the shield. Is this wrong? Does it technically not hit if the hit is absorbed thus not giving a suppression token at all? If the weapon shooting has suppressive fire (1) would you add a token even if the hit was absorbed?
    Couldn't you have just chosen to blaze away with a unit containing an HMG instead this way your hits would not get taken away as page 63 says so you would be getting 1 if you hit plus 1 with the suppressive fire (1) plus 1 for every 6 and at 4 hits the bubble would pop and be gone for the rest of the game? Or is Blaze away only allowed to be used as a charge reaction? My understanding was that you could use it as a shoot action as it is listed as one on page 45.

      yes i could have blazed away and that would have been fine. my problem (i was playing marauders) was that i had too few dice (on that side of the battlefield) per weapon firing so they would have either been soaked by the shield or would have put minimal suppression on (blaze away) or would have maybe killed 1 model a turn (say by using the Hulk). i would have been better probably having an extra unit of goblin snipers or marauders to shoot with rather than the stuntbot etc. good questions though Moon Bun :)

    Pushing into firefight myself and just had some strategy questions. Would it have been more advantageous to use up easy to hit goblins first? Second, is there any real advantage to using teams with higher numbers of models in the unit besides the fact that you can bring more units for less point cost? Do you find smaller teams are better because only so many units can be killed from an attack? It seems like this would be the case but I suppose it makes orders less effective as they would then only effect a few models.

      small units are useful as they give you more activation's and if they have suppressive weapons then you may get more effect from them by firing lots of units rather than more weapons in the same unit. on the downside they die very quickly and suppression whilst it is important in armies with headstrong (FF and marauders) its probably not that important

    More questions. On a charge page 46 says "On the turn a unit charges add one to the Dice value of its Assault weapons." which is what i assume you are doing. Is that 1 die for each model or 1 die for the entire units charge? Another confusing part is the fact that it says add one to the dice value not add 1 die. So I thought that meant if you were hitting on 4s you would not be hitting on 3s. Is this the part you refer to for the extra die or is that somewhere else?

      yes i found this confusing too as it mentions units which is odd. its actually 1 extra dice per model fighting. so not easier to hit but more dice to roll.

      That is strange. The wording doesn't make it seem like that at all. Maybe some food for thought for some errata someday but none the less I'll change how I'm doing it.

    Loving the well-painted armies and terrain but I am spending WAY too much time looking at an empty dice tray while you talk through rules. Keep the camera on the table until you're ready to roll dice.
