I told you these were awesome. My neighbor has one and it is awesome. He loves it more than his Ferrari. He originally bought it for his wife because she wanted a C8, then wanted a Porsche GT3, then a GT-R. So he bought her this. I love it
Nice job Ben. An honest review of a spectacular car minus the typical nonsense comments about cup holders, HVAC control knobs and missing glove boxes. The 4C is a unique driving experience wrapped in a drop dead gorgeous body.
I purchased a 2015 4C with the intention of keeping the miles low, maintaining its value, and driving every once in awhile until I could trade it in for a GT4. Well now it has 40K miles on it, I beat the living crap out of it tracking it, and want to keep it forever. Theres are such special little cars.

Ben you hardly pushed that car. You have to take it to a windy back road when you take the RPM's up to 6500 plus before shifting it is way louder and quicker and the handling is sublime. Cheers
The later 4c has the handling gremlins fixed as stated by SeenThroughGlass.
Also a lot of the transmission electrical issues were rectified in later post-15 cars.

I purchased a 4c spyder in 2018 with all the options including the competition suspension. It has been a great car, no issues, handling is flawless for the street. The only negative is after about an hour, it is time to park it.
Paul, I have 2015 4C Spyder with competition suspensions as well……I can go all day long in this car, and by the time I am done, my face hurts I have been grinning so much!!!

Is it comfortable in a manner of speaking? (I know sport cars tend to be hard to daily) I was thinking of getting a 4c to daily. Would you recommend it? If so why or why not ?
@@lukehenry9369 ha ha, I find it comfortable and I'm around 6ft tall. I haven't had anyone in the car that has said it's uncomfortable, in fact quite the opposite. I've done 3hr drives in it and it's been good as gold. Very reliable so far and I'm at 50,000km. Every drive in it becomes an event, which is just great in a world where cars are becoming really dull

Its the best way to keep development costs low - you can share all of your major mechanical components with a FWD car. Major reason the Elise, Evora, Emira, Fiat X1/9 and MR2 all share that layout. All of them share their powertrain with something FWD - for the 4C, the mid engined car actually came first, and then the FWD after with the Giulietta Quadrifoglio.
The DCT in the Giulietta and 4C is actually the same unit that's in the Dodge Dart.
it lloks much better than it's drive. GT4 Cayman and even Lotus Exige - are on another level

I was in love with my Giulia and Alfa Romeo as a brand, however, I will never again buy/recommend another Alfa Romeo in my life. I had the brake by wire system fail on me and it caused me to crash and total the car. They sent someone from Bosch to diagnose the vehicle and in the charts it clearly showed that something malfunctioned (brakes were slammed 2 seconds before the impact at 40 MPH and it took more than 1.5 seconds for the speed to start going down.) Stellantis told me that they were not going to take responsibility for it and that I needed to have my insurance pay for the vehicle. Absolute garbage. I will never recommend this car brand to anyone again! Buy an AUDI, BMW or Mercedes instead!!
Fourteen point three miles per gallon? Sorry, for that small of a car that makes it a non-starter.
