As an Englishman, it never bothers me when we loose to Scotland.
Great, generational team full of eccentric characters and Gregor is a legend. Finn Russell is surely in anybody’s top 3 favourite players in the world.
However, Scotland always do get out of bed with a bit more spring in their step when they play us, shame they can’t do that when playing other teams as they could be one of the best in the world.
Should have beaten both France and Italy this year and should of really been better against an Irish team we had weakened the week before.
I do agree, thank you! Strange. I always say to my young neighbour when she said 'Good luck' before a match...There's no such thing as luck, there's skill, and there's mistakes'.
@@mhtherealthing Yeah for sure, for Scotland I think they have an issue with full execution and mindset. That kick tennis against France was one of the strangest displays of play I’ve seen. France we’re on the backfoot and Scotland we’re just playing with them as if to say ‘we have you’, but the game was far from won. There is honestly so much to decipher from Scotlands six nations, they are either an incredible team on the cusp of glory or they are a sinking ship.
I sincerely hope it’s the former
@@thereader6667 totally agree. How I didn't have a heart attack watching these matches is beyond me...''STOP with the kicking!!!'. The refs. are being crazy quick with the 5 second rule on the after tackle kick, maybe Rugby Laws need to look at the tennis? Mind you, gives'em a lil' rest! 😆
@@mhtherealthing I think they will do after that Game (look at the rules), as it upset the crowd and the rest of the players looked baffled.
I’ll be honest I have been cheering for Scotland as neutral in all their games for many years, but the last 4 years has felt disappointing because that have played so unbelievably well in most of their games and just come off short, sometimes for their lack of discipline and sometimes bad luck, but I really do feel for you Scotland fans, every game must feel like a rollercoaster of emotions. I don’t mean to beat a dead horse but I genuinely believe that the; Horne, Russell, Kinghorn, Jones Tuipoltu, Graham, Van Der Merve Backline IS the best in the world and when it clicks it’s going to be special.

As a Scot, I remember England going unbeaten against us for 10 years straight, thinking that we'll never beat them again. Believe me when I say that Scots make such a big deal out of this game every year because we don't take winning streaks for granted anymore

I was joking, anyone who follows rugby knows Svotland had been playing a better style of Rugby than England.....but sadly they always flatter to deceive. I hope one day they live up to the hype, but until then the rest of us will continue to make the usual jokes

Well it makes up for the ‘It’s Coming Home’ (despite the massive contribution by others., particularly Scots, righteous reference on national tv to ‘Lionesses’ when playing Scotland ( also Royal Lion-ess on the badge) and the BBC commentators choking on the superlatives after a replay of Furbank’s try against Ireland showed England in-touch in the build -up- but then not showing it again and carrying on like it didn’t happen even when mentioned by an Irishman….😄. King of ‘England’ after 400 years since the Stuarts.

Not to mention the dream FIFA and Rugby World Cup draws, a British sports personality of the year who saved a penalty that should have been retaken or was outdone by an outfield player’s Unpunished save in a Euro final etc etc etc.
