For me, besides the talent of this young man, the magnificent lyrics of the genius Dylan, it is the audience appreciation, The young ppl surprised me and thrilled me that they too recognized a song written for the ages.. Congrats Matt and student body,
I've been listening and floowing Bobby for nearly 40yrs, attended 34 concerts, met him twice, heard many, many cover versions of his songs, including Tambourine Man, and I gotta say, this is one I will add to my play list. Brilliant kid, you held all our attention, well done 👏👏👏
I love how great music lasts. I recently found this song and heard diff covers. This guy covered it 9 years ago. The years will pass but the music will remain. The soul each artist puts into his music determine how long.

I stood still put out my hand to shake his and he turned walked toward me and shook my hand. Told him he was the best. He smiled and walked into his bus. I have seen him 35 times. The first time was on November 12, 1965. I told him that I saw him at the music hall in cleveland in 1965. I just got lucky that night.
The thing is... the genius of this song is that is sounds so "improv?" regardless of whether its him or dylan who sings it. but it probably took this kid 6+ months to perfect. and he did it, and the audience, while they appreciated the performance, will never know the true dedication it took to do this.
