I traded the Flip 3 for the 4 with the soft green silicon case included. I have a clear case for the flip 3 but it's hard plastic which also fits the 4. The soft silicon will absorb impact better when the phone is dropped and it covers the whole phone except for the front screen and you can grip the phone better as it's not slippery
Those thin plastic "plates" for the Samsung Clear Cover w/ Ring are there for if you want to customize the inside of your case with stickers you would put the stickers onto those pieces and then clip em' into the cover.
I have the clear case currently and like how slim it is. It feels pretty protective and looks nice. Have the leather one coming shortly though and I think that will become my go-to.

My Pixel 6 pro slides and falls everywhere and now the rear glass is smashed and display scratched. Cases protect phones but you never get to experience the phone properly with a case, the flip will be sufficient protection for my needs :) Anyway, cannot wait for it to arrive next week 🎉🥳
This is am extremely fragile phone. If you got this thinking you could get away without a case you were wrong. I would not recommend running it without one. You need one more so than other phones. This phone isn't even dust resistant. Unless your lifestyle is completely sedentary maybe.

The strap is an excellent idea for if you are doing things for example like running, climing, mountain biking as you can attach the strap to a lanyard of some kind to keep it so that if it does fall out of your hand or pocket then it is just going to dangle from the lanyard instead of falling.
This is amazing. I always use a loopy case so I can have the security, they don't make it for this device and I was worried when I got it. So glad they have the same idea
My big disappointment is that Samsung didn't keep the Aramid Cover from last year's Z Flip 3. It was my favorite one and it was among the thinnest, yet one of the most protective and it was nice and grippy.

that silicone strap one stood out to me because I like to hold my phone when I'm lying in bed and sometimes my phone falls out of my hand😅 I'll check online to see if it comes in different colours because that colour combo will take some getting used to for me.
You can buy the extra straps online to replace it, it's the same strap see on the sillicone case of S22 and last year Z flip 3. They are all interchangeable
For the pre-order from Samsung, I got the purple ring option. I wanted clear, like on my Flip 3, but it wasn't available. The purple ring case is nice, but I like the clear ring case because it protects the phone while showing the real color of the phone. I did hear that the F3 cases fit the F4, so I'm going to try it.
For the silicone one, does it collect too much of dusts? I mean, as we all know z flip 4 is not dust resistant so it's kinda worrying to use the silicone case.

Assuming the basic plastic is the smallest/thinnest. How does the leather case compare to the silicone ones in size/bulkiness? I would really like the leather case if it does not make the phone too bulky.
I have had a silicone case with a ring for my flip3 since October 2021 and the silicone is starting to wear out and chip off and it doesn't look good at all. The case is really pretty but it doesn't last long. Hope it helps
I’ve got a few cases including the Blue silicon case and leather flap in Serene Purple and my absolute favourite is the leather case. Can’t see myself taking that one off. The leather case looks and feels amazing and makes me want to keep fondling my new phone 😂😂
That case with the strap... Did you try using that while taking a video with the camcorder-like video mode? ie. Taking a landscape video with the screen folded 90 degrees

I got one of those strap cases and I feel it makes the compact size of the flip gets bulky with it on. Maybe just me but had to go with a slim shell case
Why you don't post the part when u paste the ring thing to the plastic case?? How do you do it? Explain if is this by inise of the cover ?.by outside? Or do you paste it on the phone? Or how?? Why do you skip that part????
I had issues with the leather case slipping and sliding. Since the fit isn't all that secure, once open, there would be a little gap at the top and bottom, between the case and phone.
The one with the strap came with my Flip. I can't stand it, because the little clip at the end constantly gets in the way when I'm trying to use the phone. The leather one looks awesome, but it's way too expensive.
Every time I see you disconnect that cable by pulling the cord I cringe. That's the fastest way to destroy your cables.... If you want to pull by the cord get the magnetic power cord
If the Samsung 4 case is anything 3 clear (ring that is) don't get it. It sucks! Ring strap doesn't stick to the case. Don't get it ring clear case unless you want too be a guinea pig to see if it's been improved. The silicone ring ones completely rock.
dont waste you money on flip 4 cases.. Flip 3 cases work just as well. the only difference is the flash is slighly (and im mean slightly) off center but the entire light is still exposed. I know because im using ALL my old flip 3 cases on my 4. There is litterly no difference. The only thing that changed was the hinge. That effects nothing in terms of the case - including cases with hinge protection.
I bought the purple silicone one with the ring. Tbh the ring feels uncomfortable to use, maybe it would be better if the ring was rotatable. Honestly the strap would probably be way better, except I didn't like the colors and designs I saw. And strangely I didn't find any on the website? Edit: it's not perfect but tbh the rings grown on me. And it's cute
Great video. I'm going to say this. Samsung has really lost its edge when it comes to cases and by that I mean they are just flat out boring. I remember when the Note line had a magnetic keyboard case that would attach to the phone. They had a battery case for one note they had a case that had LEDs on the back that would light up when you got a call etc. They even made a line of Marvel Smart Cases that added unique themes to the devices when attached. Now it just seems like cases you can just get off Amazon that don't really do anything. I think the only case they keep making is the S view and the LED wallet case. Idk call me crazy but If I'm going to spend $90 on a case I'd like some functionality or something. There are so many possibilities for cases with a phone like this I'm just a tad disappointed.

Great video. I'm going to say this. Samsung has really lost its edge when it comes to cases and by that I mean they are just flat out boring. I remember when the Note line had a magnetic keyboard case that would attach to the phone. They had a battery case for one note they had a case that had LEDs on the back that would light up when you got a call etc. They even made a line of Marvel Smart Cases that added unique themes to the devices when attached. Now it just seems like cases you can just get off Amazon that don't really do anything. I think the only case they keep making is the S view and the LED wallet case. Idk call me crazy but If I'm going to spend $90 on a case I'd like some functionality or something. There are so many possibilities for cases with a phone like this I'm just a tad disappointed.
