The biggest issue I have with Samsung, hear me out. No advanced replacement for when you ultimately will have issues with your phone. My s22 ultra started freezing and locking up, and this is how I found out about Samsung being literally the only company to not offer advanced replacement. So to get my phone fixed I had to upgrade to a fold 4 which I will be returning once my s22 ultra comes back. The fold is absolutely an amazing phone but there is no way I can keep it knowing that when the screen does fail on it due to usage ( they can only fold so many times) I would have to buy another phone to use while its serviced. I love that Samsung is still innovating, I came back from a oneplus 7t and I have to say my oneplus had no issues, and at 3 years old it still had better battery than the brand new s22 ultra. That being said Samsung needs to get their act together if they really want to keep being an industry leader. Everyone BUT Samsung offers advanced replacement.
Love my flip4... I had been to a party recently... in a group of 10, 4 people asked me about my phone .. It's so unique, that novelty factor is something that makes it worth the amount... And it just looks beautiful... It's a phone you don't want to let go...
When I had my Flip3, almost EVERYONE at work asked about it lol. Then I switched back to iPhone and my phone experience got real boring. Just ordered the Flip4, gotta go back to something fun

I've had my flip 4 for a week now and initially didn't know if I'd be keeping it or not, but this video has completely convinced me to keep it. I'm coming from an iPhone and haven't ever used a foldable before and this video perfectly confirms the positive aspects I've found. I feel like you've done a great job of pointing out why it's worth switching to from other phones, from the bit about the notifications on the cover screen to the fact that if you aren't worried about losing FaceTime or iMessage, losing an apple phone is worth it, to also pointing out the sturdiness of the phone, which was a big concern for me personally. I really wish I had found this before buying the phone, though I'm also glad to have found it after. Keep up the good work!
This is my 3rd year in a row to take advantage of Samsung's trade in program. I was doing just fine with my Flip 3, but the early reservation trade in value, combined with all the credits and freebies were an ABSOLUTE no brainer. It will sound like BS to many, but it literally worked out on paper that Samsung was PAYING ME to upgrade. I was a dedicated Note user, using the original Note in 2011, and used about 4 different Notes until ending with the Note 20 Ultra. I really hated giving up the S pen, but the clamshell design finally became affordable with the Flip 3. Even as easy as I am on phones, I played the screen protector game for years utilizing some complex stuff out of fear of ending up with a jacked up screen. I always liked the built in protection clamshells provided in the years before smart phones. Even with my Flip 4 though, I take some precautions - I don't feel the need to treat it like a Star Trek communicator, force flipping it open with one hand, and constantly slamming it shut. If I don't have a specific need for it's folded state, I'll often leave it open, treating it like a standard candy bar phone, until folding is needed for protection. There are many times it makes more sense to keep it open in a breast pocket when I'm accessing it repeatedly, knowing I can close it at any time, safely sticking it in a pants pocket. I really look forward to seeing what they do with the 5.
I'm so happy that you've mentioned iphone mini! I was considering moving from 12 to 13 mini ... but since it was discontinued, I switched to Z Flip 4 instead! I'm sure there will be more cases like that.

I waited some generations and with Flip 4 I was confidence it was a mature phone. And I love it, I forgot how nice it was to have mobile phone that do not take up the whole pocket or stick out of the pocket even. And still having a huge screen is a huge boon together with the cover screen that is such sweet feature.

I'm 28, so I was there for the 1st cell phones, and this phone is so nostalgic for me. I just ordered mine today! I'm not a heavy phone user because I have a ps4 for gaming/tv, a laptop for any web stuff, and a mirrorless camera for any filming, so I'm not concerned with the few bits that it lacks (although I'm kinda annoyed with the lack of headphone jack but that's phones these days).

I can see some kind of pattern here. My previous phone was also an s10e and I recently upgraded to the Z Flip 4. I think it might be the one for people who don't like big phones, which was the main reason I got the s10e in 2019/2020.
I recently got this phone and I'm loving it! I've had iPhone since the iPhone 4 and it has been a little of an adjustment but I definitely do not regret it. I have Verizon and ended up paying just $4 per month for this phone. I also was able to get the samsung clear case with the ring for just $23 ❤️
@@ChristieRessel I went back to my iPhone. It seems like the iPhone just works seamlessly and I was having to do so many work arounds. Coupled with I couldn’t use my Apple Watch, AirPod pros and iPad didn’t work well with my Samsung. Bottom line is IF I didn’t have so many Apple products and hadn’t been an iPhone user for so long I would be using the phone now. I am just hoping one day there will be an iPhone folding phone 😂

Bought an unlocked Flip 4 for $600 a couple weeks ago, not counting the trade-in for my aging OnePlus 8 Pro. I could not be happier except for a substandard voicemail app that doesn't transcribe without sending it to my (text) message app. But it is my understanding that this app is different depending upon the service provider. I am glad it doesn't have a bunch of massive camera lenses sticking out of an otherwise streamlined form. Twelve megapixels still exceeds what is necessary for a sharp picture, more megapixels is just to sound impressive on a specs sheet. Some may miss having an optical telephoto lens, perhaps someone who takes a lot of outdoor photography. I am not one of those people so I could care less, but you can still digital zoom a reasonable amount with 12 megapixels before the quality suffers too much. Otherwise, this phone compares well against flagship phones and I love the clamshell design.

This is the best foldable phone!! I was always tempted. I tested my luck 🤞 and is the best! As casual, just hanging around only depending on the phone. Even to go a public bathroom won't take a swim on the toilet or loose it by accident.
After a month of using this phone i can say you will still notice the crease especially when viewing content at non direct angles and scrolling but you just accept it. Still a dope phone tho

I dont know about durability man. I dropped mine a coffee table distance and it wont flip open anymore. Took it to get serviced and they told me the drop affected the camera and... battery?

I came from the iPhone 11 pro max, and now I have the flip 4. I could have got the iPhone 14, but for what? It's always the same phone, nothing is really new about it. I am enjoying my flip 4, still learning it, I don't miss my iphone maybe the ios because that's what I'm use to. I can put my flip 4 in my pocket and a small purse with no problem and that's a plus for me, also the split screens 🐬

I LOVE my z flip 4, it's a great convo starter and my case has a ring to hold the phone like a purse which helps me physically bc i have childlike hands/fingers and previously had been using the s22 ultra which was much heavier than z flip 4 and it cramped my hand immensely. S22 ultra would fall outta my pocket bc ladies bottoms' pockets are a joke and it cracked the screen--with flip 4, i def dont have to worry ab it falling out of my pocket bc its small enough to stay in a ladies pockets; when I go for a walk, I just hold it w 2 fingers bc of the ring in the case. Battery life-agreed it's much noticeably longer lasting I think my only peeves is tht the sensor near the front cam can be very sensitive during a phone call n so it would black out (bc of the sensor thinking im putting my phone to my ear) during calling while multitasking using my phone The touch sensitivity overall is INSANELY more noticeably sensed than s22 ultra and I like tht the fingerprint is on the power button in case the screen cracks bc when I cracked my s22 ultra, the fingerprint stopped working bc of the screen crack
Love this phone - only problem is I can’t get Android Auto to read my messages out loud. Have only ever had iPhone and wanted USB-C and Touch ID, this phone rocks.

i think its a really unique phone, like u wouldnt be apple to tell apart from a the past four apple phones but samsung makes sure each phone is very unique.
I had to pause the Video where you showed the iPhone X as the good ole days.. I bought that phone, and had to sell it after 2 months.. LOL... I just could not stand to look at it.. I waited watching for a nice looking Samsung.. When the S10 was released I jumped on it.. I love the look, the feel, and the use of this phone.. I am looking at another Samsung device because my battery is starting to lose power less than a day now just sitting mostly, where it was about a week for my usage.. Edit: Forgot to say that I have this Z Flip4 ordered for my wife's BD.. I just ordered the S22 also in case she rather have the regular phone.. So either way I'll get a new one.
Broo, I will buy a new device around black Friday sales here. I am really confused, between Zflip4 or maybe I really want to wait for Pixel 7. Don't know. I am done with big phones, even my current XR seems uncomfortable to use (thanks to my not so big hands) & battery health to 80%🙃, but this is the first time I used a device for more than 3 years (kudos to Apple). even if i try hard i CANT reach SoT like on my pixel6 or on my ip12 pro max BECAUSE i dont react upon every notification .... this is a digital wellbeing phone because you start to always think "is it worth to get into this" when you read almost any info of a notification on the outer screen.... with the cover screen app you can play youtube and twitch on the outer display :) i love that phone... even if you set the processor to "lower" clockspeed this phone is still quick as fu**
Im still using the s22 ultra and wait for the s23 ultra next year. Although I am still preferring the flagship model, the z flip 5 next september or octomber is actually worth consideration if they improve in this rate
I have the z flip 3 for 14 months now and I don't have any issues with the crease. However, I upgraded to the flip 4 only because I dropped my laptop charger on the screen 😭 It can be fixed but is expensive and I see no point in doing so that's why I decided to upgrade.
I want that flat z flip phone I’m really tired of iPhone shit and some few reasons cnt send no voice messages it glitches and freezes something’s here and there it over heats and soo on reasons

Don’t get it! The screen has issues with the crease where it “rainbows” or has dark spots from the wear and tear of opening and shutting it. The freakin retail store representative told me about it and said many customers come back around 6 months wanting to return the phone.
One of my main reasons is being able to "Super Fast Charge" it, few other phones can do this, using the Anker 737 at 60 watts it will charge surprisingly faster.
But, I never had an iPhone before :( and right now, I already used iPad for months and recently started using Macbook for college. So.. if you know. You know, I have to get an iPhone. Can anyone change my mind?

I heard from another reviewer that the Flip 3 after a few years. The crease on the screen became more evident and the phone when completely open was no longer straight. But had a slight bend in it.

The camera specs are downgraded from s22 ultra but I personally don't mind
why get the ULTRA if you have small hands. Then get the S22 which is smaller.

Love this phone - only problem is I can’t get Android Auto to read my messages out loud. Have only ever had iPhone and wanted USB-C and Touch ID, this phone rocks.

I have the Zflip4 but I cannot disable the predictive emojis from appearing on text messages. It is turned off in systems settings and software is up to date. Any suggestions? Thanks

i think its a really unique phone, like u wouldnt be apple to tell apart from a the past four apple phones but samsung makes sure each phone is very unique.

I had to pause the Video where you showed the iPhone X as the good ole days.. I bought that phone, and had to sell it after 2 months.. LOL... I just could not stand to look at it.. I waited watching for a nice looking Samsung.. When the S10 was released I jumped on it.. I love the look, the feel, and the use of this phone.. I am looking at another Samsung device because my battery is starting to lose power less than a day now just sitting mostly, where it was about a week for my usage..
Edit: Forgot to say that I have this Z Flip4 ordered for my wife's BD.. I just ordered the S22 also in case she rather have the regular phone.. So either way I'll get a new one.
Broo, I will buy a new device around black Friday sales here. I am really confused, between Zflip4 or maybe I really want to wait for Pixel 7. Don't know. I am done with big phones, even my current XR seems uncomfortable to use (thanks to my not so big hands) & battery health to 80%🙃, but this is the first time I used a device for more than 3 years (kudos to Apple). I switched to iOS back in 2019 for the first time, but I am done, I sooo want to go back to Android now. Nice video as always. 🙏🐬

I have z flip 4 and its so good! I havent had any issues the only thing i think samsung needs to work on is shutterspeed
even if i try hard i CANT reach SoT like on my pixel6 or on my ip12 pro max BECAUSE i dont react upon every notification .... this is a digital wellbeing phone because you start to always think "is it worth to get into this" when you read almost any info of a notification on the outer screen.... with the cover screen app you can play youtube and twitch on the outer display :) i love that phone... even if you set the processor to "lower" clockspeed this phone is still quick as fu**
I have the flip 4 and looks great, but coming from my note 10+ I just couldn't get use to it. I ended up putting the sim card back in the note.
i loooove it but still can't myself to make the switch from iphone to the flip due to the camera quality - it is still lacking for me😭
The camera quality is fine. Just wish it had a telephoto lens.
Im still using the s22 ultra and wait for the s23 ultra next year. Although I am still preferring the flagship model, the z flip 5 next september or octomber is actually worth consideration if they improve in this rate

Don't worry most flip reviewers or user comments switch their flip yearly. So they won't have issue even if it become worse soon.

I have the z flip 3 for 14 months now and I don't have any issues with the crease. However, I upgraded to the flip 4 only because I dropped my laptop charger on the screen 😭
It can be fixed but is expensive and I see no point in doing so that's why I decided to upgrade.

I had the Z flip 3 last year, though because I am a big user of the espan I have the s22 ultra and the Z flip 4 this year. I disagree... screenprotector will be the major flaw. Imagine two pieces of paper glued together, now try to curve it gently and you see the issue.

I just made that exact upgrade, and have no regrets.
I love the foldable form factor even more than I thought I would.
Don’t get it! The screen has issues with the crease where it “rainbows” or has dark spots from the wear and tear of opening and shutting it. The freakin retail store representative told me about it and said many customers come back around 6 months wanting to return the phone.

One of my main reasons is being able to "Super Fast Charge" it, few other phones can do this, using the Anker 737 at 60 watts it will charge surprisingly faster.
I've been occasionally flicking it open like the old flip phones of old.

I heard from another reviewer that the Flip 3 after a few years. The crease on the screen became more evident and the phone when completely open was no longer straight. But had a slight bend in it.
The Flip 3 is only a year old.
