  • Comedian Bobby Lee brought up a 12 year old gripe that he had with Whitney Cummings on her Good For You podcast. Things got a little awkward and tense as Whitney took it pretty hard.

    He's acting like a child. Everyone coddles him, indulging his spoiled slights & complaints. if you watch bad friends, pretty much every episode is: Bobby asserts some slight or issue, Andrew calls him on it , Bobby is wrong, and then recants. From the sound of this event, she tried to do him a solid and it was managed badly. She should tell him she tried to make him feel better and he should get over some 12-year-old slight that's entirely nothing.
    Also I watched that episode with Shultz giving her shit in the round. That guy is an asshole and his sycophantic jerk-off circle passively watching it happen are assholes too. No wonder there's a Me-Too movement. toxic behavior.

      Jesus being nailed to the cross, simultaneously endured His enemies hatred, mockeries, disdain and contempt, but was not deterred in His own love for man, exemplified the power of forgiveness in that very same moment. He cried out not for vindication to the Father but rather for forgiveness. “Father, forgive them! For they know not what they do!”
      Let us examine our hurt filled past, for those who have wronged us, and for those we have wronged, and let us learn to forgive as Jesus Christ forgave and was not found in shame. But life was restored to Him! And life restored to me and to you and to Bobby if we forgive!

Then, after this she totally dominated him when she forced him to hold her baby, started asking intimate and inappropriate questions about transwomen, and then started asking him about his sexuality and his sexual fantasies. I kinda sympathize with Bobby. I was a veteran after college looking for a job. I had just become a dad at the end of graduate school and I was living off my small savings and credit card. I was trying to find ANY job just to make a paycheck ( I was even part time bouncer and ranch hand) to keep a roof over my head while I landed an actual career. I remember multiple bogus interviews where they already had someone lined up (a friend of a friend/relative) and they we’re just interviewing people for paperwork purposes. That went on for almost eight miserable months until I got a high school teaching position. I was so pissed off of putting all that effort, energy, and anxiety only to be given a bs interview. I remember I interviewed for a State Farm position and the interviewer told me half way that he already had some “lined up” but kept wanting to talk about our military experiences like we we’re buddies. I was hungry and my Jeep was running on fumes and the guy made me drive 20 miles for nothing. F those people.

  • @whogotbarslikethese7563
    @whogotbarslikethese7563 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    I don't think Whitney has a victim complex. I think she's genuinely taking a back by the fact that for some weird reason she went on a podcast that someone asked her to show up to and he was rude to her the whole time And then someone who she's been friends with for years and has seen on multiple occasions randomly brings up something wrong she did from 12 years ago. Imagine if you were with one of your close friends and they started going on for a very long time about something you did over a decade ago that you barely remember You would not know how to take that. I think most people are okay with admitting something they did wrong and accepting responsibility If that thing just happened but if I've seen you multiple times and this is over a decade ago it's going to feel weird You're not going to just readily accept the fact that someone is really hurt about this. So she was honestly probably confused and felt like why in the hell is he bringing up the story to make me feel bad about something that happened where we saw each other numerous times afterwards and you never mentioned it. And if all of these conversations are taking place on live microphones you might doubt the people's intention behind saying it. I think Bobby might have genuinely brought it up because it just popped in his head and he decided to make a joke of it but he played it too well and too long to where it started to feel personal. I'm by the time he realized that he had already made things uncomfortable. Whitney probably was very hard to deal with at the time, She had like two shows She was like a regular on Chelsea handler at the time so she was hot in the industry and was busy as hell It probably had an effect on her. When you feel like you're that guy sometimes the things you say and do come off a way. I think she did learn from that cuz she's not that way today really.

    Whitney being a backstabbing, condescending c word isn't a shock. Ever since she started her podcast thing she's been trying to appeal to redpill people and now she's mad she's being treated accordingly by them. Also Bobby Lee should get it out as much as he can. He's a legend and he's already made his mark so it's not like it'll take away opportunities and such. People shouldn't say he's having a victimhood complex because some rants is valid and justified.

    Bobby again says "no it was out of pity" and she doesn't respond lol. Bobby perfectly detailed the exact motives and intentions and she literally can't female her way out of it so she just sits there and takes it lol.
    Also, Whitney has been in hollywood for decades. She had even more power back then than she does now. She used to make fun of Podcasters and say you aren't legit if you arent in hollywood like her, now she has a pod.
    She laughed at all the comedians moving to Austin and now it's the comedy capital of the world.

    So the “serendipitous” nature of how she got the greatest opportunity was questionable as asking, is it any wonder she’s never done any other TV show?

Though her comedy is pretty much on the same level as Bobby, though she’s more personable.
