Last comment, I promise! 🙃 I've always loved the ancient building techniques. I've studied it a bit here and there over the years. One thing though, if you've seen the megalithic sites where the stone appears to be molded like clay, here's a technique ancient people used (and you can too) to make artificial stone (one of many ways, and not the best, but the safest):
    1. Get some wood pulp or old newspaper, which you should reduce to a pulp with water as best as you can. Once pulped, wring out handfuls or press through a sieve until you have
a mass of damp pulp, but not saturated...just damp. Set it aside for now...
    2. Boil some rice (about a cup will do for this example) until it looks like mashed potatoes. Don't use a lid, just add more water as needed to keep it from drying out or sticking to the bottom
of the pan. Once the rice is like mashed potatoes, let it cool, then press it through a fine sieve to make rice glue. You can skip the pressing if you don't mind pieces of rice in your final product.
    3. Work the rice glue into the wood or paper pulp (Egyptians used cattails and reed grass), until you have what seems like a ball of clay. Put it in a plastic store bag with no holes, and
put it in the fridge overnight. The next day, squeeze all the water out of it and add more rice glue. Repeat this process over 3 or 4 days. Each time, the final product will be stronger
    and more durable.
    4. After you've spent a few days working the water out of your putty ball and adding more rice glue, you're ready to add some sand or powdered stone (limestone or granite if possible),
And work the dust into your putty ball until you have what you consider the proper proportions, then allow it to dry for a couple of weeks or a month, or less if you set it in the sunlight every day
or blow hot air around it.
    5. Once you've shaped your lump and allowed it to dry, you have synthetic stone you worked like clay. Isn't that neat? The reason it works is because the rice glue shrinks as it dries, pulling
the wood/paper fibers together and "weaving" them in random fashion, while trapping the stone/sand dust in-between these woven fibers. This gives such durability, you can actually
make shelves and furniture out of this stuff. If you add Boron Carbide in the right proportions, and layer the putty with ballistic nylon, you can make body armor that's damn near indestructible.
You could. for example, fortify a cardboard box if you were homeless. A bag of rice, some old newspaper, and some pitch made from pine tar to waterproof it when done, and you'd have a
pretty good shelter that's durable and can endure the elements. All these materials are available easily just about everywhere. 😉

One of the biggest myths about this is that he worked in complete secrecy and stopped working and hid when people came by to see what he was doing. Although he did stop work and avoided uninvited visitors, he was doing so because he didn't want to go through a long step-by-step explanation and demonstration of what he was doing and how he was accomplishing it every time someone just showed up. He basically wanted to work in peace uninterrupted in privacy, not secrecy. He only worked at night during the summer months to avoid the daytime scorching temperatures, not to avoid being observed. His behavior is more like that of an artist who doesn't really want anyone to see their master piece until they have completed it and are satisfied with it and confident enough to reveal it to the public.

The irony is I have seen amazing experiments done by people working on the "Coral Castle mystery". FYI: Actually, this is not Orwell's statement, (it is very frequently referenced though), he phrasing was different, from his "Notes", and was expressed in reference to a Political context.
Be that as it may, and with all due respect, what is overwhelmingly noticable in this video is that the Narrator seems to have a far greater Interest in applying Accusations and Judgemental Commentary towards Graham Hancock, than the focusing on the subject of how Leedskalnin accomplished his works. I found this most apparent, (but my area of expertise is in Sociology and Behavioralism).
      My Perspective:
(Everyone is free to establish their own Perspective)
*"Leedskalnin, BTW, stated that he knew and mastered how the Ancients built the Pyramids."*
Although the hoist offers a reasonable method, it falls short of a "One man operation and successful completion". Meaning, it may be one of a series, but it just does not effectively solve the Subject's full mysteries.
Graham Hancock and others make a number of reasonable points regarding Ancient Civilizations, and the "Mainstream Academics" "19th Century Theory based Paradigm" (which is in opposition to the Authentic Academic practice of following the "Standards of Science and Research", as it prohibits using a Theory as Fact, and thus their Paradigm falls way short of a reasonable, intelligent, and logical answers.
However, I feel confident that we are in the very time that these questions are literally being answered through a number of Sciences and Technologies Research and Studies, offering an unfolding of outcomes that are and will reveal the facts we greatly desire.
These include the Genetic/DNA Lab based studies, Geology/Geophysics Studies, and a number of other Academic works, including Dr David Reich's (Geneticist, Harvard), Mapping of Migrations using DNA, *following the "Standards of Science and Research", all with "Peer Reviewed" and "Journal Published" Science Findings, that have already emerged* and more are underway. (Proving the "All out of Africa Theory" inaccurate and the "DNA studies resulting in data that points to: Modern Humans being a result of Intervention rather than simply Evolution". *These are already Published.) 2019 and 2020
"Journal of Science", Science and Genetics*
I'd say Graham has been, and is, on the more accurate road of discovery.

He is definitely respected for his amazing feats of art and engineering. I too like the man.
*Leedskalnin himself said he knew the methods of the Ancients, that built the Pyramids. I would agree they used the winch/hoist technology, but the Ancients moved pieces that were also 200 Tons and larger. There is more involved than this video addresses, far more.*
I would note this individual is clearly more focused on Gaslighting Graham Hancock than defining his method of explanation of how Leedskalnin did his works. ... and defining that is in my area of understanding:
The following is merely a defining of the subjects relative to the attitude in this presentation.
🔹 Regarding the individual in this video, Judging another's Theory and accusing them of being incompetent, is not reflecting Mature Minded behavior.
*Educated, Intelligence, and Higher Mind aka Mature Mind are 3 separate Subjects.*
*Wisdom is found in the Higher Mind.*
(From my perspective, I don't feel that the winch offers the full answer.) *The object has first got to get in position for a winch to be used to hoist it.*

I have rigged pulleys in tree tops to unpinch a stuck chainsaw, to lift and hold branches pre cut, and lower large, heavy branches down to a rooftop, where I could buck it, etc etc. Winches, levers and pulleys are incredibly flexible tools, and if you just think through what you want to do, you will see how to set it up.

    • @SacredGeometryDecoded

as with many things the weights of the stones are exaggerated, the weights based on volume against limestone at 2.7t a cubic metre. It's coral limestone and much lighter. Though a bearing should be able to bear even 9 tonnes. Old massive industrial plant weighs much more and under greater stress and wear.
Older stuff just tended to be made much better. An old landrover still kicks in decades later while most modern equivalents are trashed after a decade.
coral castle moved from an earlier site, I don't know if the revolving door was there at the time.
The footage comes from the second (current) location.
Model A had been out for a while but Model T were very old by that time. they shared a lot of the same parts.
I can't tell the difference between the two myself but even in this video or another on coral castle i show clips from limestone cutters, old timers who used the same basic methods including an old model T engine to work the pulleys instead of the even more old fashioned way of horse or hands.

The first evidence of a pulley system in Egypt the world even apparently, is credited to 12th dynasty Egypt. I agree this guys work is explainable, but the ancient stones bigger than we can even move without a massive mechanical machine that would leave more than enough archaeological evidence itself, balbec, “unfinished obelisk”, Chinese mega quarry, the last standing column of Alexandria, all made out of granite, harder than steel, cut precisely as if machined, all apparently older than even the invention of a wheel, or iron those ARE crazy. I would love to see these principles physically applied to them. Even though this technology didn’t evidentially exist at all during those times, I would still like to see these “ancient techniques” applied to them. Even though archaeologically there is no evidence of any of these methods or techs even existing at that time same anyways. Maybe it is as simple as, but i would love to see it, there is no physical archaeological evidence it was as simple as anyways, but honestly who knows, I would love to know the truth.

I’ve lots of videos of people moving large blocks with ‘primitive’ tech.
There is literal video of him using off the shelf standard gear.
He has stone and logging experience. Moving heavy stuff was standard but add a little Atlantean mystery anti gravity and proven physics is abandoned for woo.

I know exactly how he did that it's old maisonary method I learn in my youth in 🇨🇿 its easy and u don't really need pulling or an wheel to sort that out u can move 30 ton stone by one man hand lol I did it myself so I know it's possible with pulling and wheel only easier 😉

Its more then just a simple pully system that enabled 1 man to move 10 ton stone and place them so perfectly, honestly people understand the stones can be lifted but he had no equipment for moving or cutting these stones I'm sorry I'm convinced there's more to it but yes the pully system definitely has to be part of it

Many people reported to have tried to watch he working and would have seen and understood pully systems in their time

He was using chain blocks, he can be seen on film using them. They hang on his tool shed on photos of him standing next to them. Yes they can lift 10 tonnes. They were old and widely available long before Coral Castle was built.
Also I show old men sawing much harder limestone blocks with handsaws.
Every point you just made is covered in this video.

That's all a nice theory, but when was it that man found how to smelt steel? I don't think bronze was that strong. You would think a bronze pulley that large would have been found by now.

    • @SacredGeometryDecoded

Iron goes back thousands of years before Coral Castle.
Ships used wooden blocks as compound pulleys for thousands of years. Bronze or steel not necessary however bronze is very strong, massive steam trains used bronze bushes as bearings. Also made boilers out of it some cases such as arsenical bronze alloys.
Ancient texts on engineering mentions all the principles necessary.

How did he get the trees up and in place by himself? How did he move the stones in place outside of the inside of the triangular stationary wench? Did he dissesmble the wench and move it for every block moved? And how did he do all of the manual labor being sickly and 5ft 100lbs

A Japanese crew thought they knew how the pyramids were built. They put their money where their mouth was. They got permission to build a small replica near the pyramids using only manual labor. They failed miserably, and ended up using machinery to finish the project. How easy it is to hurl labels and cast aspersions at others from the comfort of an arm chair.

      Lol
An old stone mason happened to be passing during that build and helped them out. They had no idea what they were doing. Funny how you and yours never mention that.
I can’t fix my microwave and if I fail doing it then no one must be able to do it!!
I think you are confusing two things here though. The Sphinx nose was were they switched to power tools. The “expert” was using annealed copper. 😂
Strange that when a dodgy attempt fails you all pile on it as gospel. Though you never notice old school workers who did it for their lifetime.
I worked in rigging and lifting and so learnt a few things from old timers.
That attempt was cringe and none of you that hold onto it so dearly ever bring that up?
I don’t believe you have even seen that attempt. I believe you are just copy pasting some uncharted x BS cherry picked narrative.
I get this comment almost verbatim regularly. No one ever brings up the relevant details. Funny how LAHT relies on dropping details.

    Re: lifting capacities,
The standard is twice strength, an example would be ratchet straps, the lines on the strap represent tonnage, 5 lines indicates 5 ton tension capacity though they are tested to withstand 10 ton.

Now I'm not saying he COULDN'T do it all with pulleys. One man can lift a car with one hand with the right pulleys. However, Ed's writings are just too weird to ignore, and I haven't seen a better explanation for the magnets and copper coil in his old washing machine setup than the patent I've linked. Just check it all out and decide for yourself.

Or drive a car up to a wall, put it on blocks, take the tires off and attach a chain to the wheels. Cars in 1920 had 20 to 50 horsepower. As for the concepts being ancient, homo sapiens is over 300,000 years old. In theory Egyptians has 100 IQs.
