Wasn’f Valorum just “Chancellor”? Palpatine was made “Supreme Chancellor” as a result of the emergency powers act that Jar Jar was the deciding vote on, I thought.
Don't know if I'm missing panels, given the format, but comparing a betrayal of trust to hurt feelings? Yeah, there's a difference. People need some baseline level of trust to work together, including criminals, especially organized crime. I've encountered way too many people who think everything's about intentions and feelings when the conversation is about actions and consequences. Yeah she *felt* betrayed, but that's because she was *actually* betrayed. Hardly an unexpected or irrational emotional response. Still, it is amusingly ironic and gives a new meaning to "criminal court."
Actually, the Jedi built the Jedi Temple on top of the existing, older Sith shrine when the Sith were defeated at the dawn of the Galactic Republic, as a symbol of their victory. They thought it's harmless, then they forgot it exists...but the surviving Sith Lords didn't. The dark side emanating from the shrine was the Sith's secret weapon, secretly corrupting the Jedi Order from within over the course of centuries.
I somehow get a good laugh at the criminal court and their crime boss actually thinking they had the ability to dispatch a Jedi by putting them in a pit with some thugs armed with a buncha swords, maces, and a wooden staff. Then again, they perhaps are not aware of a certain thing called The Force, and how Jedi have this tendency of even without lightsabres being able to call upon it to send goons flying, sense attacks via precognition, and also being pretty decent at unarmed hand to hand combat.
And I can imagine that this event led to Quinlan Vos doubling his efforts for the Jedi spy network, which led to him eventually joining Count Dooku's Dark Acolytes with the intention of hunting down "the Second Sith". For more context, it's in the Republic comics and the Jedi comics tales featuring Mace Windu, Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura, and Count Dooku.
If jedi have the ability to sense danger for them and the people surrounding them and they can use telekenisis, as we have seen them using the force multiple times to save themselves (revenge of the sith) and others (clone wars) from huge falls, then why havent they used any of their powers to do something
Okay. This one is one Vos. He could literally use the force to catch the girl. Beside, his fetish for low live women is really messing up his personal life. I may sound like an old dad or Yodad, but I think he should leave the order and find himself some nice, polite, well mannered girl like Shaak Ti or Secura. It's obvious he can't keep it in his pants.

Best way to stay alive is to agree with the chancellor then pull a Bale Organa.
If Padmé wasn't marry to Anakin, she would have died earlier.
Padme death would be planned by Sidious during the final days of the Republic to complete the Vader transformation.
But also then anakin would never be a sith

I was wondering how the sith made their shrine under the Jedi Tempel... now I know... they just walked in.

This ties in with the fan film Shadow of the Republic well.

Too bad they did not do an arc of clone wars episodes on this. I think it would have been really cool to see on the screen
