I had the opportunity to head up to Oshkosh, Wisconsin to go take part in TMX, Tabletop Minions Expo, put on by Uncle Atom from ‪@tabletopminions‬. It's a small gaming convention with painting classes and tables for demo games and pick up games. The whole aim of the convention is to gather a bunch of nerds to revel in the hobby and enjoy what we love to do. This experiment got me thinking about the beauty of small conventions and what they bring to the table that the larger conventions might not.
