Bold move dude, but sounds like the right one for yourself if it helps progression with skating and the channel. End of the day no one looks out for you to the level you will for yourself. Your community is always gonna be here for you though so you’ve got a solid base to start out with this next chapter in your career/goals. Stoked for the new content, can’t wait!
Very smart move. The best thing you could do is be an independent entity. That way any company can send you gear to be reviewed without a conflict of interest.
Yeah man. Looking forward to your progression throughout all long boarding. Glad to see this video where you skate with your crew. Fun to see you shred together. Thanks -kevin
These roads look insane man! You did the right decision. Sometimes you really have to leave something to focus on your dreams. 'Cause at the end who's there? YOU!
yeah .. actually im using an old 2nd hand landyacthz deck.. because i saw how you evaluate and review it.. it really takes me time to look for one because in my country really hard to find this brand and very expensive if your going to buy a new one.... thank you and for me your still the best landyacth reviewer...
Sick spots Abuga! Those left hand hairpins that drop look fun as hell! That’s a bummer to hear that you felt that you had to hold back your stoke when reviewing products. Honestly in an ideal world people who are ambassadors of brands should still have the freedom to acknowledge what they like or what stoked them out without holding that in at the end of the day. It’s stinks that you found yourself in a position of being hard to speak your true mind. Hopefully this move gets you over that wall and the authenticity and stoke flows freely! Peace bro.
Just comes with the job. Honestly, LY gave me a lot of breathing room. I personally didn't think I should be hyping other products as a sponsored rider ... It was an internal conflict for me for a long time
@@downhill254skate thanks for your honesty. Stoked, that's a big step to take in the pursuit of your career. Props!! As Brandon Dejarlais told me this one time, "best be 100% focus on something you're passionate about and give it some attention." Creative can be the path I think.
Good to see you’re doing what you think is best to progress, even if it means giving up the certainty of a pay check. They say the comfort zone, is where dreams die, so you have to face the uncertainty to truly progress! That said, I hope SkateHive has a place in your future! I’m always down to support your work, and host your videos no matter what brand, or subject you want to talk about! Peace and love brother!
@@downhill254skate Yeah man, let’s show the world what we are capable of with the power of community! No need to pick sides, just follow your heart, and the SkateHive community will have your back! ❤️💪
I could organize something. it's such a fun road. Two hairpins, one chicane, couple of fun corners, steeps straights ... event safety might be the challenge though
I totally understand that you want indeonedence man. I just wish you won't suddenly be riding for another brand. That's how it usually is. Skater says they want to be independent, but ends up riding for another brand that has bigger pays.
Stoked for you! Let’s chat about reviews!
Will DM you soon
You’re doing an awesome job and are nothing but a gem to the community ✌️🥰

The homies in the car just reviewing the roads is so hilarious, peak skate sesh moments there. Overall a very interesting video :)
The footage in this video is so sick and that new spot looks super fun, can't wait to see some more Abuga raw runs 👏👏

I'm sure it will work out for the best as you clearly value honesty in your content. Still looking forward to the drop hammer review though 😏😏😏🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
Glad to know I'm not the only one whos been taking a break from things cause of Elden Ring.
It pretty much consumed my life lol. Soo hard to do anything else when playing it haha
dope to see your crew skating and the whole vibe, sad you left landy bro, but i rate its a logical decision for your reasons.
Loved the skate footage, and I liked how upfront you were in talking about the sponsorship stuff.
Yes, very smart and courageous!!!
Building your own brand and content is always best
Very very gutsy move to leave Landyachtz. Best of luck with this. This is a hard game to make good money on. Very gutsy move.
Yes! Elden ring is awesome! As always thanks for the videos.
Does that toe stop on the front of your board make a big difference when it comes to keeping your foot in place?
Yup. Really helps hold it in place
@@downhill254skate are you willing to recommend a style of stop and a website to get it from?

Fuck yea bro this kind of videos is awesome keep em coming!
