So, Otto said Noone's tumor is ocular. Ocular means "of or connected with the eyes". You know what else is connected to eyes? The Signal Tower, the Maw, the giant baby, literally the entire world of LN. There's almost certainly no way that's a coincidence.

Just here to point out, what Otto saw near the end of the episode was in fact an eye. Specifically, probably, an eye from the signal tower, or something connected to it. If you focus, at around 29:42 you hear a snippet or sample from The Man in The Hat in the little nightmares 2 soundtrack. He also mentions a pupil. It's also likely it could be an eye that turns something to stone, like on the maw, but I don't believe so as he said it was "watching me, its watching me" and while creepy, i doubt the stone eyes would have that effect
The Thin Mans door maybe? Also you hear the sound that plays when six eats the runaway, but it sounds more like static than the stone eyes in little nightmares 1.
I interpreted it as one of the eyes of the maw, as they shine lights (the glare Otto saw) and you could hear crackling noises, which sound a lot like the typical noises that play when a character in a media turns to stone
In the end, it was not about helping, it was the same as in the games: The Adult destroying the innocence of the child, the essence of Hunger, Escapism... Darkness...
words cannot explain the feeling when Noone arrives in the room and says she is ready to talk about her parents and Otto simply doesn't care and tells her to talk about what interests him 😢
Wow! This episode was really good! You can tell Otto getting more frustrated as he gets closer to finding Cici. Feel bad for Noone though. She knows now she's just being used, but when she says "maybe that's how your Cici felt" that must have stung. Very well written.
If Cece/Cici really is (against all odds) the Six we’ve known for so long, that’d explain not only a lot about her, but also the entire ending of LN2. Noone said that the girl had gone to the Nowhere to get away from Otto when they were children, what I’d assume to be due to an accident Otto may have caused in his youth, and him saying: “I was only a boy” may imply that during that time he clearly didn’t know any better but his sister took it the wrong away. Now the same thing occurs in LN2, Mono was just a boy who had been determined to reach the signal tower for who knows what reasons, and Six got caught up in his interest, he put Six through series of challenges and horrific events unaware the damage he was causing Six along the way. Which explains the ending, Six hadn’t realised Mono was the Thin man, she recognised Mono as her bratty annoying brother, so she did what Noone had mentioned, to get away from him. Aight’ I’m done theory crafting for today.
I didn't think about that, that would also add some depth to him saying he "was only a boy" could mean that he didn't believe Cici and even possibly bullied her in his youth or did or said something to her he later regretted before she disappeared.
@@plasmatic3223 the line where Noone goes “maybe your Cici felt that way too, relieved” was just, wow, she didn’t roast a grown man but burnt him alive, she stabbed him in an opened wound and twisted the knife, if I was Otto I wouldn’t have let that slide
The thing is, Six went with him willingly, one of the descriptions even said Six is his guide. I think she just dropped him because he destroyed her only form of escapism (the music box) Escapism is the theme of LN 2.
@@Le_VampiI was about to say, because of the 1st comment, it made me think that maybe Otto is mono trying to save is sister who will be now Six the whole time :'D
In the final part you can hear The Thin Man's theme when you open the door almost at the end of game 2 and apparently saw the eyes of the signal tower. Maybe Otto came across "The thin man" because he is in the signal tower who creates the monsters, distorting them until they become what they are. I fear it could be that Otto did not take into account the risk that "The nowhere" could be waiting for Otto to try to enter ;-; On the other hand, Noone finally met the Gnomes :D
I got so excited to see the “mushroom fairy’s” 💀 The end was shocking to this that’s one cliffhanger honestly where’s noone I want to know. How they described that end was just so fast and I could see it..clearly. The eye.
I don't think he's gonna be turned into a nome, but into something much worse. Kinda sad tbh, since he didn't have bad intentions at the beginning, but now he's just asking for it. You can't play with forces you don't understand, especially if you're putting in danger a little child
The ongoing storm outside in this episode really emphasizes the escalation, and how this series is about to go down, it's surely not going to end well for the both of them. pure chills
It makes sense, the Thin Man is one of the most powerful entities we've seen in LN, and his ability to warp the flow of space-time made it feel right for... whatever was happening there.
@@greenhydra10 y'all you do realize with this new lore of LN this means mono, six, raincoat girl, seven, and every other kid were normal children who started having these horrible dreams and eventually got trapped and then raincoat girl drowned, mono got trapped in an endless loop because of six, seven got aten, now i don't read the comments so i can't list the other kids deaths but still this is crazy and thin man probably traumatized and angry sees the chance to enter reality again and just wants out, he clearly doesn't care about six anymore, the loop was still going yes, but so was time, so randomly during one of the loops i theorize he was sitting in the chair and then he saw otto suddenly show up but what? thin man was in her dream?
THE NOMES LETS GO!! I cannot wait for the final episode WHICH LEGIT DROPS ON MY BDAY! I am gonna make so many vids on Little Nightmares 3, maybe even some theory :O Love these Podcasts so much and I love the theme of the sewer and having this creepy stalking resident who juxtaposed the children above in his desires.
I have a collegue at work, who shares my love for the LN games, and even has some theories of his own, but doesn't consume any other media of it, including this podcast. But he's still interested to hear from me in shorter form what happens in this story. After I told him about the last chapter and how the counselor wants to get to this place that's called Nowhere, he reacted by saying "but that place have no adults" (not counting the monsters of course), wich gave me a thought. I think this is the story about Otto getting there (maybe he already did at the end of this chapter), but since he's an adult, it won't turn up good, and he will stuck in that world turning into an actual monster. He will sease to be Otto and become the Counselor. Furthermore, if I turn up to be correct, the fact that the last chapter (where Otto started to be a little more aggressive about getting there) was written by Supermassive Games, I have a feeling that this newly born monster, will actually be one of the main antagonists of LN3. I don't think he will be the absolute main one, like the Lady, the Thin Man/Signal Tower or the Pretender, but even this remains a possibilty nevertheless.
Starting around 24:58, when Noone snapped at Otto that maybe Cece felt the same way she did, that maybe she wanted the Ferryman to take her, that actually got an audible gasp out of me. I was _not_ expecting her to use his sister against him like that. :') Still, I know that stemmed from her desperation to get rid of these nightmares, maybe desperate to do anything to achieve that goal. And, as much as I felt bad for Otto in that moment, he truly has become obsessed with this whole thing. I'm eager to see how this all concludes, especially after that bit with (what I assume to be) the eye at the end!! That was wild!
DUDE THIS ONE GOT ME SO MUCH THE NOMES Those cliffhanger.. What happen?! Why?! Otto is like.. That villain that tries to act as a good person Maybe like anti-villain? I just can't describe anything right now
More like some kind of anti-hero (in his eyes, probably). He does all of this just to save Cici, his sister, so he has good intentions. But his methods are a little... *_horrible_*
I was so gassed at the mention of the nomes! 🤩& otto entered the nightmare world!? Just watch, he's gonna become a monster. I'm so sad it's almost over! 😭
@@lotusbloom6800 at the end tho, the tv screen, the figure, the man in the hat playing with this new lore we can only assume mono and six and every other kid were just normal kids living their lives, then they started dreaming got stuck and you know what happened to all of them thinman wants out
I can't get over just how evil he sounds at 27:46... you can hear the manic grin in his voice and it's so... disturbing. Such a huge departure from the (fairly) sane Otto we heard speak in Chapter 1. This whole monologue is so creepy. He really sounds like he's snapped, and Surface Tension playing faintly under the sounds of the storm does not help with the sinking feeling of listening to this psychiatrist plot to dig around in his patient's head with no regard for her begging him not to.
I have a theory, I think that noone is actually six. In the very first few episodes I thought this. Here are some examples. First half of noon (12) is six and she says that she feels like half of her is in this world. Then there’s the fact that in the bathhouse episode, she mentioned how she felt good that she poured the chemicals on the monster. And we know how brutal six is. I may be overthinking it, but I think that my theory has some validity. I was going to say this the day that the first 2 came out but I figured that if it was true I didn’t want to spoil it for anyone.
The TV sound we heard all throughout LN II! I'm so sad this is coming to an end, but it seems like Otto finally got where he wanted. Also, the nomes! Loved seeing the universe being built during the whole series, so it could be finally set with all those things that we know from the games. This is awesome! Can't wait till next tuesday.
Ooooh, the falling action was tense! You can tell the shift between Otto and Noone turning from friends to spouting venom at each other, and how toxic behavior and personal desire can drive one truly mad. Im unsure how many videos there are, but im SUPER looking forward to the ending! The fact Noone has a tumor could explain the possible attempts to bring her to the other side by the Ferryman, and like i said in one of Mike's videos, emphasized the Ferryman's peter pan like personality, bringing the kids to a twisted neverland of darkness, despair, and death, thinking he's saving them from what he believes is "worse off", and trading it with something he believes they would be "better off" in. Love that dynamic!❤
I literally get so excited for these, it's a little odd haha! But I seriously don't want these to end, but then I guess we only needed *Six* episodes to hype the third game
The dream seems to be a parallel between the relationship of Otto and Noone, with Otto sees noones abilities as a marvel whilst noone is desperate for it to go away and to be a normal girl able to receive the gifts of the outside world. Both want what the other has, but can never have.
Does anyone remember that brain scan from the hospital in Little nightmares 2? Didn't it have some sort of black spot on it that might've been a tumor not unlike the one mentioned here?
That just has to mean the Nowhere is the future or an alternate universe completely that was once a normal, stable society like ours. There is too much evidence for it.
One thing I keep thinking about is it Otto enters that world again and doesnt get stopped like he did this time, he will become a monster, Adults become monsters.
The slow reveals of their characters. Otto's increasingly erratic and cruel behaviour. Noone wanting desperately to be free of him while knowing he's the only one who can help her. Both characters are extremely fascinating and realistically written. I'm in love with this podcast.
you think the hanging man is otto after going into the nowhere, looking for cece, not finding her, and killing himself? thats dark, but it makes sense.
I wasn't sure about a podcast for a game with zero dialogue. While also aware that sequels would ultimately expand the lore also apprehensive about things being overly explained and spelled out. But these have been great! And can't wait for the last episode and game.
Since this podcast series is coming to an end soon next week, will it have an actual conclusion or having the cliffhanger ending? Please, let the latter not be the case like this one! And while I felt bad for Otto for losing Cece back then, he was clearly out of line here.
At this point I’m sure that the candleman/ferryman is Otto. In this chapter, we can actually hear his voice clearly compared to all other times Noone has been the one speaking his words. His voice sounds almost identical to Otto’s if it were in a lower pitch and edited. Also I’m very excited about the cliffhanger at the end. The sound at the end of the episode sound like the theme for the Thin Man which means it’s either the signal tower or Mono who’ll scare Noone this time. However, I’m still stumped on who spoke to her in the toy shop in Chapter 3.
It really wouldn’t make sense though in my opinion. If that was the case, Otto would have talked about himself being in the Nowhere and sending kids to the Maw.
13:35 it's a Nome !!! Grey, cone-shaped, small and friendly. The only things in Little Nightmares that actually make me happy (Yes, they are spelled as Nomes, not Gnomes.)
what a ending I don't know rather to trust otto or not but I feel sorry for him and all the pain he is going through. but wow this really a great storyline can't wait to see what little nightmare 3 had in store!
This was an interesting role reversal. Up until now, Otto was the one calling the shots but this time Noone was the one however briefly in control. It was also reminiscent of the nightmare, ordinarly the kids are the ones at the mercy of the "adults" but this time the kids were the monsters and the creature was the victim.
Way to go Otto you just landed the kid in the deepest parts of The Nowhere, the smack dab middle where the most dangerous entities of that world are, congratulations you got your wish you have a tumor now too! 👏 👏 👏
So I just rewatched the trailer and all the hands coming out of the sewer pipe are the hands of the kids they are talking about man I’m so hyped for this game
Two things: 1.MONO AND THE TOWER ARE BACK BABY!!!!! 2.Noone and otto relationship have gone for the worst :(,and here hoping this episode will be them reconnecting with each other, sad that circumstances are against otto,he have no person to trust him about the another plane of existence by his late professor,Noone isnt interested in the nowhere and just want to go back to normal, and otto desire to bring back cici which in return also hurt noone make it worse, while his actions is almost entirely unjustifiable,i find it understandable, when you finally found hints of your loved one that disappeared ever since you're a child, you would do anything to find he/she back.
Kos, or some say Kosm… as you once did for vacuous Rom, grant us eyes, eyes! Eyes on the inside to see past our beastly humanity. Just got through killing Micolash actually
I thought Cici was Otto's daughter but she was actually his sister 🤡 (In other words, as Otto is an adult, his sister disappeared a long time ago and he still hasn't gotten over the loss 😔)
@@BlueMechaI deduce that the most likely thing was that Cici was a child when her dreams and disappearance occurred. (Since it was kind of confirmed in this chapter for us that only children have access to this world in dreams) Maybe Otto was a child when it happened? Maybe... (It may be that not all children have access to this world, that is, there are requirements for access and perhaps only Otto's sister had these requirements), or perhaps Otto was already older when the disappearance occurred (Like Mike and Elisabeth Afton's vibe) and that would explain his desperation in wanting to bring her back since he was responsible for Cici and failed to take care of her...
I'm betting that the final chapter of this podcast will either mostly or entirely and actually take place in The Nowhere instead of just talking about it.
from what I'm getting from this new lore is mono had Noones exact situation, a child being taken to another world in his "dreams" eventually unable to leave and he got trapped in a loop from a selfish girl in a raincoat even if she was just trying to survive and he isn't happy
she might have been taken to the nightmare world through the tv by mono/thin man this time. instead of getting in through the dreams. idk what to get from this. but that means these monsters powers are not limited to the nightmare world they still have their powers in our world as well. otto coudn't even look at the tv. the signal did effect him like it effect the monsters in LN2
@@josephzia1866 i just wonder what the final episode will be like, there's physically no way for the final one otto is casually gonna be at his desk talking to noone again the final one has to be different after that ending i hope otto noone and thin man are in the game, maybe even a memory of mono before he got trapped in the nightmare world since to me its pretty much confirmed they used to just be normal kids who got trapped
@@PoTheTuber321 yeah but i think otto gonna get blamed for noone's mysterious disappearing and his tapes and him using machines on her will make people say he lost his mind soo... ether he lose his job or worse he would be a mental patient . a doctor gone mad talking about a so called fairy man and another world. i don't think he managed to enter the world cus he is the one playing the tapes for us listening. maybe if the last episode didn't start with him talking then playing the tapes for us to hear that would mean he is not here anymore.
Alright, here we go; “Cross the seal. Sink in a twinkling. Cast aside the old sleep to sleep again anew.” This could be a reference to the cycle we know about restarting, in terms of moving on from one cycle to the next. If Noone has a tumor that is somehow connected physically with her and she is Alone just like I theorized, then this might be why Alone wears goggles. Again, there is the word “spiral” repeated. “Gateways”? Like a mirror, perhaps? Apparentley a “chrysanthemum” is a flower that is commonly used for funerals. More and more I am starting to hate Otto and as such hope he isn’t Low. So I’ll say who else it could be: “Rusty”, as the bow Low has could be one that he has from a circus act. Can’t think of connections for sewers or “jangling keys” and “skreaking metal”. Not sure about the “kid in the distance struggling to shut a ground iron door.” Tons of children in the sewers is a strange one. And an “event”? “Secrets in the waters” is odd. That “grey thing” is certainly a nome based on the sounds and description and the mimicing it did. The way she said, “Yes. Drift away, Otto. Drift away.” sounded incredibly ominous and so out of character. She is becoming violent. What is this “Snatcher”? “Light not within. But without fear, all banes be set free.” She says, “By giving myself to his world, I won’t be ill any longer.” “The theater of agony”? “Fear is an essential requirement”? The presence of a bit of the them of The Thin Man is weird. Him seeing an eye of all things is also weird. It also seemed to cause him some sort of pain. Finally, something unkown happened to Noone.
Interesting that Noone notes that Otto and Cece look different. If the cece is six theory is valid, then may be cece/six is of Asian decent - based on the games, and Otto is english/caucasian - assuming based on accent but he could obviously look like anything.
i think at the end he was seeing one of the eyes that turn you into stone if you stay in its light for too long and maybe it turned Noone's body (in her dream) to stone but because Otto was watching through like a monitor it didn't turn him to stone but it did hurt him
Its ironic that Otto mention the Nome (or "mushroom fairy") is the first friendly non-child entity in Noones dreams, but those who have played the secrets of the maw DLC know that isn't entirely true...
Me during chapter 1: This Otto guy seems like a nice person. I'm glad we get to see an adult trying to help a child rather than preying on them. Me during chapter 5: 🤡
I… mental illness has been punching hard lately, and the other day I was wondering how it would be nice in a way if I lived in the Nowhere. I really didn’t expect that to come up all of a sudden
If Otto does end up in the nowhere I wouldn't be surprised if he became a monster. It makes sense if the world makes innocent children really small that he (as someone who is not very innocent at all) became a monster
Me neither, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. I thought the bad feeling was just because I was pavlov'd to not trust grownups in LN, but then he kept getting worse 💀
Hello, I have literally nowhere i can put this theory, but i really wanted to get it off my chest because i think it's quite plausible. My theory is that Noone is Alone from the main game. To start off, Noone has always been "Alone", seemingly her whole life. Going back to Chapter 3, where she visits an abandoned mall. At one point she mentions getting bullied by being called "No-one" so i imagine she didn't have any friends, leading into the more "alone" characteristic. Next thing is that Noone's stories never explicitly express that it's someone elses body or voice. Same as the ferryman seemingly talking to Noone directly, and not in a sense that it's another child in a memory. In Chapter 4: Two of a Kind, she watches the other children playing and eating cake while waiting for their parents to come and take them home. She asks if she can go in there and Otto explains that she can only watch. Once again playing in hand that she may feel lonely being separated from the other children. An extra bit which may be a bit of a reach, but both Noone and Alone haven't yet had their facial appearances revealed, with Alone having her entire face covered and Noone's face not even being revealed yet. Anyway, the main reason i think that they're the same person is that all of the locations mentioned in the audiobook are also in the game. The carnival from Chapter 4 is in the steam screenshots for the game, as is Chapters 5's candy filled sewers. The Nome that is mentioned in Chapter 5 is also in one of the steam screenshots, although that could just be a different Nome. Noone also exclaims many times that she can smell and feel all that is around her, which you can't do in normal dream/nightmare scenarios. There is also some dialogue said in a chapter (can't remember which chapter, sorry) that she feels like a part of her is still in the nowhere, possibly speaking of Alone. I have yet to piece together where Low comes into all of this, although a friend brought up that it could possibly be the ferryman, shapeshifted as a child, to lure Alone/Noone further into the nowhere, but we haven't delved into that area yet. I would really appreciate some insight into this theory, because i am quite excited for this next game, and this audiobook has boosted my interest even more. I may edit this comment as time goes on, if i find more information. Also the fact that Chapter 6 comes out in 5 days as i'm writing this, so that may answer more.
In episode three I believe she also talked about how she was always alone. I’m not really sure when or where but I believe your theory is entirely plausible.
i have no doubt thin man is in this, i know its probably just a coincidence but the constant echoy sound of monos hey probably only i hear and the ending, otto was looking through a screen saw a void then a figure getting closer the thin mans music was playing, so people were wrong, thin man (might) be in this the audio fiction at least i hope someone manages to animate these accurately or the people who made it themselves animates it Just to see if we were right, because at the time of writing this, i can only see one other person saying "thin man" dunno how he got out of the loop but hey good for him EDIT: after thinking i realized, with this new lore and explanation of the world, mono six seven raincoat girl and every other kid in the comics and games, they were just normal kids living their normal lives, suddenly started having terrifying dreams, and got stuck which resulted in seven being eaten, six turning scared and violent, mono being betrayed and put in a loop, raincoat girl drowning, and everything else I feel mega bad now thin man doesn't look that happy, he wants out of that horrifying world, but what will he do when/if he gets out? go to find his family? is he so twisted and changed that he just wants to kill everybody?
@studior2962 yeah actually, with this new lore i consider canon it seems like Mono six and every other kid in the games and comics were real kids just living their lives, they started getting the dreams, and then they got trapped and we know what happened to all of them I feel really bad now for mono and seven i don't read the comics so i dunno what happened to some of the comic kids but still i feel bad what will thinman do if/when he gets out? try to find his parents? be blinded by rage? not realize hes out of that hell and start killing? the signal twisted the adults in the little nightmare's world, and they just saw the screen mono was inside oh and this brings a new question, what really are the adults in the little nightmare's world? i mean the viewers is it normal adults who somehow got in??
I remember listening to the Alistair Grout's monologue in Vampire bloodlines, the many nightmares in dark deception and contrast of fantasy and madness in Alice: Madness Returns, Little nightmares is such a gem.
I just came up with the idea that in the cover, the hands pulling her hair could be Otto since he’s been forcing her in to things and trickin her for his own research, and the hands covering her eyes are the dreams, which to Otto, overshadow her other problems, making her only think about her dreams even when she doesn’t want to, now Otto doesn’t see noone and only sees something he can control to get his way. He only realizes it’s a child when she acts out causing the hands to move away from her face. Only second go by though until Otto puts the hands back and restarts noone’s cycle of trust, worry, panic, distrust. Only Otto makes the cycle worse and worse, and the hands continue to pull, and cover. They pull harder, they cover more.
Man this just keeps getting better. By this point the nightmare is just as much the waking world as the dreams for noone, hope this one has a happy ending, though LN has never been huge on those. Poor noone.
Why do I have a feeling that Otto might be the man who hanged himself in the first game... Because we still don't know who that is, and it's definitely not the Thin Man
Thats an amazing theory! It could also be true from his guilt from doing that to Noone. But that might have been a punishment from "the candle man" for trying to go to that realm.
i knew otto was a terrible person, people burdened by loss they cannot let go of always do selfish things to hurt those around them instead of simply moving on in stories like these like they have gone mad from obsession like Karon in Scarlet Nexus (though he did try to right himself in the end)
He is obsessed and grief stricken but not a bad person just blinded by his obsession with finding his sister and bringing her home safely. It's sad because he doesn't realize the danger he is actually putting Noone in. Let's see how the last chapter goes
So, Otto said Noone's tumor is ocular. Ocular means "of or connected with the eyes". You know what else is connected to eyes? The Signal Tower, the Maw, the giant baby, literally the entire world of LN. There's almost certainly no way that's a coincidence.
well this is all little nightmares related lol, probably very unlikely but would it not be interesting if she grew an extra eye?
Yep…

yeah same, if one of the enemies in ln3 is called "the councillor" im gonna lose my marbles
Maybe he could be in the office in one of the screen shots or in the factory!
@@arcivist that's a great theory, I hadn't considered that
Maybe he’s looking into a mirror ?
Yeah, I was starting to think that too! great theory
Is it weird that I like closing my eyes and picturing myself in these nightmare scenarios and worlds as Noon describes her dreams every episode?
No it’s part of what makes it great 👍
Nope
i do it all the time
That's literally what you're supposed to do
I do the same
In the end, it was not about helping, it was the same as in the games: The Adult destroying the innocence of the child, the essence of Hunger, Escapism... Darkness...
words cannot explain the feeling when Noone arrives in the room and says she is ready to talk about her parents and Otto simply doesn't care and tells her to talk about what interests him 😢
Or when noone learns about her tumour and Otto decides to be all smug smh
Wow! This episode was really good! You can tell Otto getting more frustrated as he gets closer to finding Cici. Feel bad for Noone though. She knows now she's just being used, but when she says "maybe that's how your Cici felt" that must have stung. Very well written.
Children being used is a common theme in little nightmares
I literally just woke up from a dream where it did turn out that otto is mono and six is his sister lol
@@Le_VampiI was about to say, because of the 1st comment, it made me think that maybe Otto is mono trying to save is sister who will be now Six the whole time
:'D
In the final part you can hear The Thin Man's theme when you open the door almost at the end of game 2 and apparently saw the eyes of the signal tower.
Maybe Otto came across "The thin man" because he is in the signal tower who creates the monsters, distorting them until they become what they are. I fear it could be that Otto did not take into account the risk that "The nowhere" could be waiting for Otto to try to enter ;-;
On the other hand, Noone finally met the Gnomes :D
This is getting really wild than I imagined. The cliffhanger at the end😨
I got so excited to see the “mushroom fairy’s” 💀
The end was shocking to this that’s one cliffhanger honestly where’s noone I want to know.

I don't think he's gonna be turned into a nome, but into something much worse. Kinda sad tbh, since he didn't have bad intentions at the beginning, but now he's just asking for it. You can't play with forces you don't understand, especially if you're putting in danger a little child
I have a feeling that whatever happens next in the final episode, it's going to really blow us away!
The ongoing storm outside in this episode really emphasizes the escalation, and how this series is about to go down, it's surely not going to end well for the both of them. pure chills
29:30 The Man in The Hat is playing in the background, going to make a note of that, music can be pretty important to things like this.
It makes sense, the Thin Man is one of the most powerful entities we've seen in LN, and his ability to warp the flow of space-time made it feel right for... whatever was happening there.
@@greenhydra10 y'all you do realize with this new lore of LN
this means mono, six, raincoat girl, seven, and every other kid were normal children who started having these horrible dreams and eventually got trapped
and then raincoat girl drowned, mono got trapped in an endless loop because of six, seven got aten, now i don't read the comments so i can't list the other kids deaths but still
this is crazy
and thin man probably traumatized and angry sees the chance to enter reality again and just wants out, he clearly doesn't care about six anymore, the loop was still going yes, but so was time, so randomly during one of the loops i theorize he was sitting in the chair and then he saw otto suddenly show up
but what? thin man was in her dream?

I think that Otto is going to become a little nightmares monster
Maybe he'll have his own level a mental ward Maybe tapes will be everywhere notes and all kinds of research
Starting around 24:58, when Noone snapped at Otto that maybe Cece felt the same way she did, that maybe she wanted the Ferryman to take her, that actually got an audible gasp out of me. I was _not_ expecting her to use his sister against him like that. :')
Still, I know that stemmed from her desperation to get rid of these nightmares, maybe desperate to do anything to achieve that goal. And, as much as I felt bad for Otto in that moment, he truly has become obsessed with this whole thing. I'm eager to see how this all concludes, especially after that bit with (what I assume to be) the eye at the end!! That was wild!
DUDE THIS ONE GOT ME SO MUCH
THE NOMES
Those cliffhanger.. What happen?! Why?! Otto is like.. That villain that tries to act as a good person
Maybe like anti-villain? I just can't describe anything right now
More like some kind of anti-hero (in his eyes, probably). He does all of this just to save Cici, his sister, so he has good intentions. But his methods are a little... *_horrible_*
@@agusnicoletti3051Oop nevermind I just heard the part where he called her his sister

@@lotusbloom6800 at the end tho, the tv screen, the figure, the man in the hat playing

thinman wants out
I can't get over just how evil he sounds at 27:46... you can hear the manic grin in his voice and it's so...
Bandai and supermassive did a great job on this one aswell this chapter was my favourite also that cliffhanger at the end was brilliant
Yep I love cliffhangers
Holy sh*t the Ferryman actually spoke-
- also man, that was a lot details revealed.
The way the Ferryman spoke was exactly how I pictured him if he spoke. If not better.
He already spoke in the previous episodes. DId you guys not listen those?
It took me pausing the video to realize that the artwork isn't animated, it's an optical illusion
Whats the other side of the illustration?
It kind of is. You can see how the icon kind of tilts if you focus on the edge, which is prob what you saw.
Focus on the eyes beside the the picture, it does move, just really slowly and hard to notice unless you focus.
Looks like the hands near the ears are doing a tug of war when I don’t look directly at the image
Otto: "The first non hostile being that wasn't another child"
DLC players: "haha.. yah.. I definitely wasn't ... "
And there are six episodes….
I also heavily believe this theory
@@AshleyIlovecats-bo5si I forgot to mention that. While I was writing this I was gonna add that but I forgot :/
While this is a good theory, I think the even more horrifying implication of this is that Six is British.
My theory is noone is dark six
The TV sound we heard all throughout LN II! I'm so sad this is coming to an end, but it seems like Otto finally got where he wanted. Also, the nomes! Loved seeing the universe being built during the whole series, so it could be finally set with all those things that we know from the games. This is awesome! Can't wait till next tuesday.
The next one could be my favorite!
Both voice actors are fantastic and the creation of this is perfect
I literally get so excited for these, it's a little odd haha! But I seriously don't want these to end, but then I guess we only needed *Six* episodes to hype the third game
That cliffhanger at the end…
Noone became savage by throwing the brick at the girl lol
Nahh girl deserved it
@@Macuquita I agree how dare the girl touch a Nome/mushroom fairy
I would throw a brick too!!
mushroom fairy is probably the best description for the nomes(also probably really sad knowing what they actually are)
The dream seems to be a parallel between the relationship of Otto and Noone, with Otto sees noones abilities as a marvel whilst noone is desperate for it to go away and to be a normal girl able to receive the gifts of the outside world. Both want what the other has, but can never have.
Does anyone remember that brain scan from the hospital in Little nightmares 2? Didn't it have some sort of black spot on it that might've been a tumor not unlike the one mentioned here?
Omg I thought I was the only one who noticed!
:o
That's exactly what I thought back to as well. I have to agree, I believe that the x-ray is showing us the tumor that Otto described.
That just has to mean the Nowhere is the future or an alternate universe completely that was once a normal, stable society like ours. There is too much evidence for it.
NO WAY THATS SUCH A GOOD THEORY
One thing I keep thinking about is it Otto enters that world again and doesnt get stopped like he did this time, he will become a monster, Adults become monsters.
The slow reveals of their characters. Otto's increasingly erratic and cruel behaviour. Noone wanting desperately to be free of him while knowing he's the only one who can help her. Both characters are extremely fascinating and realistically written. I'm in love with this podcast.
I get the feeling the legs dangling from the Maw is gonna be Otto
you think the hanging man is otto after going into the nowhere, looking for cece, not finding her, and killing himself? thats dark, but it makes sense.
The eye. Finally. We’ve seen it referenced all through out the series, and here it is.
I wasn't sure about a podcast for a game with zero dialogue. While also aware that sequels would ultimately expand the lore also apprehensive about things being overly explained and spelled out. But these have been great! And can't wait for the last episode and game.
Itsjustjord did great making this also he’s my favourite LN TH-camr I’ve watched him from the start
I just noticed how the ferryman only shows up in episodes where noone takes a sweet
8:55 i bet thats him trying to fall asleep and get into the world
I CANNOT wait for the next episode! But at the same time I'm going to be sad when this is done, it's so good.
The ending was insane. This chapter was amazing, can't wait until Chapter 6.
Since this podcast series is coming to an end soon next week, will it have an actual conclusion or having the cliffhanger ending? Please, let the latter not be the case like this one! And while I felt bad for Otto for losing Cece back then, he was clearly out of line here.
Cliffhanger of course, they want to keep you suspend for few month so you will buy the game.
I mean this is preceding the third game so there will probably be some things left unanswered
Might leave on a cliffhanger. If it does, we might be able to see what happens next through visuals and the environment in LN3.
They could also leave a cliffhanger. That's what they did for Mono's backstory in the comics
@@takoyakiwcheese that remind me, I fear that some enemy in podcast won't appear. For example, the black figure mono face in comic is not appearing
If it turns out that the ferryman is actually otto than that would be a plottwtist
It really wouldn’t make sense though in my opinion. If that was the case, Otto would have talked about himself being in the Nowhere and sending kids to the Maw.
And Noone was actually the Signal Tower all along
And sans is Ness
That's what I was thinking whne I watched the first two episodes. Now I don't know anymore

I like that his intentions are clear now, so you know what to expect from him
This was an interesting role reversal.

Two things:
1.MONO AND THE TOWER ARE BACK BABY!!!!!

Yeah, I thought it was his daughter too!
I absolutely adore this podcast! I'm so excited to find out what happens next, but I don't want it to end 😣
I'm betting that the final chapter of this podcast will either mostly or entirely and actually take place in The Nowhere instead of just talking about it.
That would be so fresh
That would be incredible maybe Otto becomes a monster
wait he used a tv to try to visualize her dreams. did he gave the thin man a gate way to our world?
from what I'm getting from this new lore is mono had Noones exact situation, a child being taken to another world in his "dreams" eventually unable to leave
and he got trapped in a loop from a selfish girl in a raincoat even if she was just trying to survive
and he isn't happy
Oh crab
she might have been taken to the nightmare world through the tv by mono/thin man this time. instead of getting in through the dreams. idk what to get from this. but that means these monsters powers are not limited to the nightmare world they still have their powers in our world as well. otto coudn't even look at the tv. the signal did effect him like it effect the monsters in LN2

If the cece is six theory is valid, then may be cece/six is of Asian decent - based on the games, and Otto is english/caucasian - assuming based on accent but he could obviously look like anything.
this podcast series is making little nightmares moments that are more disturbing then moments from the games themself

The thing I love about Little Nightmares is that they know what the fans want and make it canon in the LN universe. Sometimes.
i think at the end he was seeing one of the eyes that turn you into stone if you stay in its light for too long and maybe it turned Noone's body (in her dream) to stone but because Otto was watching through like a monitor it didn't turn him to stone but it did hurt him
I wish there were subtitles for the chapters 😖🥺
Great episode! We got nomes, the eye, and the cliffhanger at the end 😮

So cool to see itsjustjord working on this series! His Little Nightmares content was my favourite
It makes sense if the world makes innocent children really small that he (as someone who is not very innocent at all) became a monster
saw a theory that otto was the doctor in ln2, but it doesnt really make sense, since hes a therapist.
I never trusted Otto from the beginning. There was always something sinister about him.
I'm pretty sure there are going to be even more serious consequences for Otto for messing with something he doesn't truly understand nor can control.
He wasn't sinister in the beginning. He only becomes more this way as it goes on

The Old Sleep, that's gotta be the real clue. Could it mean death, is that why she goes there?
Hello,
I have literally nowhere i can put this theory, but i really wanted to get it off my chest because i think it's quite plausible.
Also I’d like to highlight the fact that at the beginning, she wanted to talk to Otto about her dreams. Now she’s being forced into it
So exciting, can't wait for episode 6, also I didn't know itsjustjord was part of this, that's crazy!
When the Ferryman is a better psycology and make more progress with Noone than Otto you know something is wrong
30:18 is Otto trapped inside the television? and it looks like Thin Man did it?
Listening to this right before going to bed just feels right.
i have no doubt thin man is in this, i know its probably just a coincidence but the constant echoy sound of monos hey probably only i hear
and the ending, otto was looking through a screen
saw a void
then a figure
getting closer
the thin mans music was playing, so people were wrong, thin man (might) be in this
the audio fiction at least
i hope someone manages to animate these accurately
or the people who made it themselves animates it
Just to see if we were right, because at the time of writing this, i can only see one other person saying "thin man"
dunno how he got out of the loop but hey good for him
EDIT: after thinking i realized, with this new lore and explanation of the world, mono six seven raincoat girl and every other kid in the comics and games, they were just normal kids living their normal lives, suddenly started having terrifying dreams, and got stuck
which resulted in seven being eaten, six turning scared and violent, mono being betrayed and put in a loop, raincoat girl drowning, and everything else
I feel mega bad now
thin man doesn't look that happy, he wants out of that horrifying world, but what will he do when/if he gets out? go to find his family? is he so twisted and changed that he just wants to kill everybody?
I'm just hoping someone that animates take this seriously and did it well
I don't want "them" To do it the way they usually did.. I'm.. I'm scared
Did anyone else here The Thin Man’s theme at the end?
@studior2962 yeah actually, with this new lore i consider canon it seems like
Mono six and every other kid in the games and comics were real kids just living their lives, they started getting the dreams, and then they got trapped
and we know what happened to all of them
I feel really bad now for mono and seven
i don't read the comics so i dunno what happened to some of the comic kids but still
i feel bad
what will thinman do if/when he gets out? try to find his parents? be blinded by rage? not realize hes out of that hell and start killing?
the signal twisted the adults in the little nightmare's world, and they just saw the screen
mono was inside
oh and this brings a new question, what really are the adults in the little nightmare's world? i mean the viewers
is it normal adults who somehow got in??
Yes it is!!!🎉
Mans needs to lose his license as a psychotherapist
I remember listening to the Alistair Grout's monologue in Vampire bloodlines, the many nightmares in dark deception and contrast of fantasy and madness in Alice: Madness Returns, Little nightmares is such a gem.
If I’m being honest I got lost at the ending and didn’t understand what was happening but I really enjoyed this video and I’m excited for the last one
I love the implication that the ferryman’s might not be a bad guy maybe even kind just what I think
Yeah really. Some have suggested the theory that Otto is Mono and his sister is Six and... I really hope that doesn't come true 😬
That’d be pretty dumb. He’s an adult…
Sorry to sound like an ass, but that’s the most dogshit theory I have ever heard in the LN fan base so far.
I believe the other hands grabbing her hair belong to the Ferryman
Man this just keeps getting better. By this point the nightmare is just as much the waking world as the dreams for noone, hope this one has a happy ending, though LN has never been huge on those. Poor noone.
Councilor Otto tried to relate to her pain but was driven insane
I hope little nightmares 3 comes out very soon I can't wait to play it, I really want to know more about this world. Its very intriguing
Why do I have a feeling that Otto might be the man who hanged himself in the first game... Because we still don't know who that is, and it's definitely not the Thin Man
Thats an amazing theory! It could also be true from his guilt from doing that to Noone. But that might have been a punishment from "the candle man" for trying to go to that realm.
i knew otto was a terrible person, people burdened by loss they cannot let go of always do selfish things to hurt those around them instead of simply moving on in stories like these like they have gone mad from obsession
like Karon in Scarlet Nexus (though he did try to right himself in the end)
But he wasn't like this before the last couple episodes lol
He did move on, but this came back
He is obsessed and grief stricken but not a bad person just blinded by his obsession with finding his sister and bringing her home safely. It's sad because he doesn't realize the danger he is actually putting Noone in. Let's see how the last chapter goes
