As of water purification, I've used the MSR guardian on my recent trek in the Alps. Works perfectly!

I boil tap water in the tea houses at night. I average three liters per night just using a basic gas stove and canister.

Maybe put some _effort_ in to it like everyone else. Publish videos, be active on social media, gain followers. That’s how you get sponsors. Plenty of advice online.

This many stuff would not be even needed for an expedition style trek... EBC is an easy teahouse trek, there is no need for half of the stuff showed in this video. It is a shame that these kinds of guiding videos are accessible on TH-cam, misleading travelers.

Why would you walk around Kathmandu with a huge pack? Usually tourists take a taxi from the airport, or have hotel pickup van take them straight to the hotel. Duffel bag is perfect for that and porters prefer them also. Different if you plan to carry your own gear; go solo.
Water: no need to carry more than one 1 liter bottle. Lodges and teashops are 30-60 minutes apart along almost the whole route and certainly everybody can hike an hour or two without drinking also. 3-4 liters per day includes all the tea, soft drinks, soups and beer you consume during the day, no need to drink that much water from the water bottle. On my last 4 week trip to Khumbu I drank 2 liters from my bottle the whole time, 0.5 l per week on average. Water bladder is totally unnecessary and inconvenient (freezing, hygiene). Drinking a lot of water does not help acclimatisation at all, it is a misunderstanding of the process. Drink when thirsty, that has worked for humanity for millions of years already.

Hi Kari. Every person is different with the way they will hike to EBC and I'm trying to make this video for everyone, whether they go with a tour company, use a Porter, or go solo. I did say in my video that the company I went with had bags that they provided for us to use to give to the Porters. I actually found my pack really handy walking around Kathmandu as I had to walk from one hotel to my hostel and vice versa. So yes depending on how you travel and how you do the trek, you can bring a duffel bag. This Backpack actually turns into a duffel pack also...
I disagree about the water bladder. I thought it was one of the most amazing things I brought on my trip in my opinion. It was so handy to not have to stop to take out my water bottles. Again, everyone is different.
