Thanks for taking us along!! I hope everything works out, and you get to keep it all. My uncle used to say “any rocks under 4” is topsoil “ 😂. He used to live in Texas County, south of you. Have a great weekend everyone.
Yep no doubt! man we just can't get the IL sale done fast enough! I am still making trips, and waiting on the system to get us to a closing!! Ugghhh...
ONX hunt maps. You can do more with it too, I'll have a vid coming out soon of creating the new map for the property with the new future fields and ponds.
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 I understand your situation. I only say that because I know how much you value your privacy. I live on 55 acres in Georgia, but only maintain about 20 acres of it. You have inspired me to clean up the other acreage, but I do wish I had similar equipment to yours. My old Massey Ferguson 135 had seen its better days! Thank you.
Maybe but there are drawbacks to that method. It leaves all the roots intact to grow back and also leaves stobs in the ground. And the mulcher will hit a lot of rocks as well causing damage. There is a method to my madness! lol
I hope we can keep it all! Right now we are working on the excavation project of making like 8 new clearings and new ponds. I want to get that done asap. We should get some cost share for that too. Then after that we'll get a forester in here for a better timber assessment. Hopefully we can get this party started sooner rather than later!
I am curious as to how high the taxes are on just the land is like you own? I own a big chunk of land in indiana and thinking of selling out and buying in missouri or kentucky

Good progress, nice to have the new trail opened up to the property line.
Good video Mr K 👍 really enjoy exploring the woods and trails 👌
Thanks man. I have my rough draft map made of the excavation projects that I hope we can get going asap!
Oh boy! I see cedars. 🙂
oh yes loads of them!!!
There's probably old roads all over that place, waiting to be discovered!

What GPS software are you using or software that's helping you track your location?

I agree with Michael below: Don't sell!
Well we are looking at all of our options to try to hang on to all of it!!

Be faster if you could buy or rent a mulcher

Don’t sell ! Did you get a forester to check it for a timber sale ? Hang in there I’ll keep watching!

The taxes on the big home and the main chunk are like 3100/year. The rest I think is just a few hundred.
How much are you asking?
Have not pinned down prices yet and parcels. I am hoping to do the land clearing and new road projects first.
