"Music Box Dancer" was written by Canadian musician Frank Mills and was a huge hit in the late 1970s - it really sounds like a music box song!! This song is a level 5 because that is the level you will learn to read notes in the Pianote Method. Don't hesitate to give it a try if you are a beginner who understands the basics of reading music!

I was in Kindergarten when I first heard this piece.... I loved it since then. I was so lucky that the house next to us (in Philppines) has T.V. so whenever I heard the sounds I ran near their fence just to listen to the music😂. Now im 52 I can afford to have my own tv but I could hardly hear it played on tv now a days😢.
Good thing I could able to download it on my phone😊.

I loved this song as a child but didnt know the name. Lisa starts playing and Im like OMG thats the song I used to listen to over and over. I have learned this one thanks to Lisas' 1 section at a time and is playing with both hands. Working on speed now

This is not the same key Frank Mills plays His song in is it ?
His seems to have a multitude of Sharp notes in it.
Might I ask what key You're playing in, opposed to what key Mr. Mills is Playing in ?
Yours is Certainly less involved, (easier) !
Is there a particular reason you're playing in a different key than He does ?

Yes--- the lower part of the piano is the notes that are the left. When they say lower part, they mean the keys with lower pitch.
