- So... I went a little crazy, because ... I felt a little crazy. Anyway, here's a drum cover to the smash-hit (from the 1970's), Frank Mill's MUSIC BOX DANCER!
I pretty much killed it. Dead (or at least seriously wounded) Laugh, dangit.

Drummers are insane! always tapping...tapping...tapping They're some of my favorite people... The worst case I ever saw was sitting in Georgia summer traffic. I looked over and the guy in the car next to me had his air conditioner on with all his windows up, tapping all over the dash of the car with real drumsticks! Drummers, indeed...🇺🇸 😎👍☕

I've loved this song since it came out when I was around 6. It's always on a playlist, without exception. I just can't tire of it, but the thought of putting a dumb beat down had me angry, appalled, disgusted,...... but I have to admit you did a wonderful job! When I listen to the song now, my memory is filling in your drum accompaniment. Mind blown.....

Fascinating how you guys are able to get so many different sounds and rhythms out of those drums! And how fast you can move your arms and legs and hands and feet and never miss a beat-it just boggles my mind!

That's really swell! I play this tune on my banjo sometimes! Of course I'm not nearly as good on the banjo as you are on the drums, but I love doing it! It WOULD probably sound much better if I had a band backing me up, but no, it's just me and my banjo! I have to sing the piano melody because I need the banjo to be whole band! Can you tell exactly what kind of instrumentation the tune uses? Piano and drums of course but I'm also hearing bass, various percussion, strings (probably synthesized) and possibly either live or synthesized vocals.
This is absolutely awesome! I loved this song when it came out, I even had a 45 single of it. As one of those kids forced into piano lessons, this was really impressive to be able to play. Brings back memories. Great job!
Thank you! I was also forced into piano lessons, and played for 5 years before my father broke down and bought me a drum kit. That was all she wrote. I've been banging on drums ever since!

A very good friend of mine used to play this song on the piano when I was in High School, and hearing this version makes me incredibly happy. Never knew it could sound so good. I do not know a thing about playing drums, but what I do know is what sounds great to me. This just blew me away.
You added a second life to Frank Mill`s Music Box Dancer ! This musical wonder was played and recorded by Frank after his young daughter asked him if he could fix her music box which had stopped working. Once fixed it had a tiny dancer in a glass globe which inspired this song which so many worldwide can enjoy today. A friend..

This is absolutely incredible! However, as a fan of the song, the first two minutes blew my mind, but after that the drums dominated the piano. The piano is the star of the song. But all I all, I absolutely love this new addition to the original! Congrats and thank you for this!!!
