For anyone wondering, i never solved the issue as i was leaving the country and sold the vehicle. I am leading to believe it was either a fuel injector issue, or clogged intake manifold as the exhausy smelled very bad like unburnt diesel. I wish everyone the best!
Mine has the exact same smoking problem but only when im driving and starting to accelerate like 15%-30% acceleration, at idle, reving whilst stationary or accelerating hard when driving there is no smoke
I have the same problem on my 2011 GL 350 Cdi. One minute there is white smoke...after 5 minutes smoke is gone and again it starts. What could be the cause of this???
ı had same problem in my jeep which has om642 engine. problem was found in ecu. ecu send different signal to furl injectors.ı changed ecu and my problem solved. before change to ecu ı tried to repair my injector according to engineer’s advise.ı deleted my dpf .but ı learned that these engines’ injectors are very sensetive and can not be repaired. if you need a injector you must change them with new and original mercedes injector
Hey dude., thanks alot. I did the same. Changed injectors still no solution, deleted DPF no solution. Then took your advice and changed ecu.... man you believe it. The problem is gone. I don't know how to thank you man. Thank you very very much. I can now enjoy my car😊
But the problem of smoke in your cases guys were constant or the car got back to normal after few minutes? I have this engine in vito and it smokes like hell few minutes then it runs normally. Usually it smokes in first minutes of drive when the engine is cold.
It is injectors 100%, had the same issue in my ML350. Thought that it was the turbo and changed the turbo, but the issue remained until i changed the injectors.
@@kilaruna86 No I have new turbo, new injectors, new crankcase breather, i have no oil consumption, only blue smoke after cold start or when he is working on parking a few minutes. Now i know problem is valve seals. I try liqui moly oilstop and there is no results. I have 0w30 VW oil. I am thinking change this oil for mb228.51 5w30 mobil delvac etc. and seal conditioner from forte. When I dont have results its done i do nothing because you cant replace valve seals its cost a lot of money. I dont have dpf egr. If you see blue smoke and you have dpf its damage. My dpf was cracked and dont work good - it regeneration regullary and I was see blue smoke.
@@kristapszs1 The blue smoke went away with new pcv valve assembly. I got defective fuel injectors off of ebay, but it seemed to help get rid of most of the intense diesel smell. I ended up auctioning the vehicle off and its gone now
@@norontboyz5949 did you have an oil in cold part of the turbo, because I have blue smoke and just remove out the pcv’s pipe from turbo, but still smoking
Yeah, i tried an additive. It didnt help. Im taking it to a shop soon to see if they can diagnose. I'm leaning towards one or more bad fuel injectors as it reeks of diesel and burns your eyes.

Fuel injectors, or injector.
Did yiu get it sorted? I have the exact same issue with my s350cdi
Did you fix the problem? I have the same problem with cls 320 cdi 224hp white smoke widhout burning oil or antifrize 😢😢😢

If the exhaust smells like unburnt diesel, have the injectors tested. I got rid of the car as I was leaving country
@@norontboyz5949🤣🤣🤣🤣 i sold minr as well garbage engine
@kitchenforbeginnars did you end up finding the problem?
I solved the problem. Bad connectors on the MAP and MAF sensor. The error was cleared and the smoke and smell are gone.
OBD scanner would show such error no problem. in my case no such errors.
How did you solve it?
Are you find the problem?
I have the same problem. When the car is on reserve, there is no smoke. It does not throw any errors on the computer.

If it's a bluetec I'd say it's doing a DPF regen, or is this constant?
