@@Islamic.perspectives. I am using a new MacBook Air. I followed all the instructions to get your Diacretics keyboard for US as one of the input languages and it is showing up as a pink icon with American Diacs with my other languages but when I open Microsoft word on Mac, it doesn't let me select the American Diacs keyboard. It only toggles through the other languages. Maybe the new Microsoft word won't allow for this keyboard to be used but I'm not sure why?

After removing it and reinstalling it as an input language it's working now! Just leaving this comment in case others have the same issue.
